We stayed for 4 nights in the Windsor Cabin. The Hosts were Friendly and helpful , the Cabin was very clean and had everything you need. Beautiful full size Kitchen , Satellite TV and Free Wi-Fi that actually worked well unlike most other places. We have traveled for many years in this area , if you are looking for a...

What a joke, tiny spots, no even big enough to put a couple of chairs out, nowhere for the dogs to lay, their pet exercise pen is a waste of time, big enough for a cat! Needed change for showers but the office is never managed, spot was dusty, no lights, no fire pits, we went to use the community...

Stayed one night. Easy to find but sites are quite small and packed together. Good place if you're only staying a few nights. Small area to walk the dog but limited. No firepits. Not much to do - would have to go back into town which is only a short distance away.

It was our first time in the Nelson area after a long drive from the Saskatchewan River Crossing. The sun has gone down and we can't find vacancy anywhere around the area. We are getting very anxious since our car is jammed with camping gear and wouldn't have much of a sleep in the car. Beginning to look elsewhere we...

Facilities were clean, but sites close together. Tenting as well as full hook ups. A little out of town, but an easy drive in and out. Friendly staff, free tea and coffee, picnic table and grassy sites for tenting.

Nice place good rest. We had our two dogs and they have a puppy run and rest area. Generally good. Barbecue available. Coffee available. Information and free maps of the area. Kim the new owner was very friendly and helpful. Castlegar is beautiful and we are having breakfast at the airport here. Also good

New owners Kim and Wylie are very personable and helpful; although new to the hosting end of campgrounds they are very cooperative and eager to please. Not a large campground but very aesthetically pleasing; facilities well looked after and clean. We only stayed one night as we were heading to another destination but well worth the stop...

Me and my girlfriend got away for a weekend and stayed in one of the cabins, it was the perfect size for the 2 of us. It was extremely comfortable and had all the necessities we needed for our stay. Its a beautiful, clean campground and the staff were very welcoming and cheerful, we had a lot of laughs! I...

“Just stay away from here at all costs. Bad atmosphere, not even a place to put a camping chair. Like a slum or a camping ghetto.”
Rrockit, 7 Jun 2014 | Read review
“The owners (Dale and Liz) were so accommodating towards our need of privacy with our 3 dogs while we stayed in Castlegar; they checked on us regularly, not in an intrusive way, but rather just as a friendly gesture to see if there was anything they could do to make our stay more enjoyable and comfortable than it already was. Their friendliness, on top of the extreme cleanliness of their entire campgound (and RV park), made it such an enjoyable/welcoming stay, but how Dale and Liz care for their guests made us feel like we were 'home', away from home :-). THANK YOU AGAIN SO VERY MUCH DALE AND LIZ!!!!.”
