This place is absolutely disgusting! When we arrived we waited while the manager took a personal phone call for 5 minutes instead of checking us in. The beds in our room were infested with bed bugs and my girlfriend and I are covered in bites. Imagine seeing a little bug on your pillow and when you flick it the bug...

The why. I booked at the hotel because we had friends visiting in Vancouver and we are from out of town. The hotel prices in Vancouver proper were staggering - like impossible for our price point. My husband, toddler, infant and I stayed in June. The location. You definitely need a car (unless you want to spend hours taking transit),...

My family and I had been camping for a few days and decided to freshen up with a hotel room. So we booked a room. The hotel is dank and very dirty. Our hotel room was disgusting. The floor was dirty and sticky, the smell of the room turned our stomachs and the beds were horrible when we just sat...

My husband and i booked online for a get -a-way vacation ...the pictures do not reveal how it really looks. Once we arrived there we were shocked at the poor location (VERY BAD part of town) and disgusted with how dirty and run down it is. There was even a foul smell in our room as soon as we opened...

Vancouver is a fairly expensive place to visit, especially in the summer. Hotel rates are double from winter rates. So if you need to visit on a budget, The Happy Day Inn might be the solution. The overall property is fairly nice and clean, in a commercial section of Burnaby, pretty close to the freeway, so 30 minutes from downtown...

Don't be too excited about the continental breakfast: it is donuts\muffins from Tim Hortons. Next, the hotel is very out of date, the bathroom has a weird\gross stink to it, and the AC unit is from the 70s. Also, don't expect any kind of refund if you run into trouble after booking this -they outright refused to do it. Also,...

The location of this hotel in Burnaby was good, as I had a doctor's appointment the following day. Easy to get to from the highway. The motel is a very basic type, but it was clean. The breakfast was very simple, with a few muffins, sliced bagels, coffee and juice. The person at the front desk gave us a very...

-Poor and slow customer service...Refused refund after being checked in for less than 10 minutes, refused to charge even half the rate. Staff lied about manager being away, after 1 hour finally spoke with OWNER Ganvir. Rude & condescending, did not attempt to make customer happy in any way -High rates -Uncomfortable bed -No food at breakfast bar (at 9am)...

Check-in staff was friendly, but the bathroom was dirty (someone else's hair on the floor/basket of conditioner). Went to bed around midnight, pulled down the blankets and found a blood stain. Hubby was going downstairs anyway so stopped in the lobby but the night clerk was having a screaming match on the phone... Couldn't exactly interrupt that. Put a towel...

This may have been the smallest motel room I have stayed at, barely larger than the queen bed within. Having said that, it was clean, including the bath. It had a modern flat screen TV with cable channels and a working remote. It had a good working AC unit, with automatic controls. The bed was comfortable with decent pillows. A...
