I found that 108 mile ranch resort needs to be updated !! air conditioning units have half the instillation hanging out ,rooms are not clean and when we arrived the lady at the desk was more concerned about her woman problems , feeling free to discuss this than taking our information on our room rental !! It has sure change since our visit 4 years ago next time we will push through and stay in Williams lake !!!

The front desk and cleaning staff were awesome and very friendly. The grounds is beautiful. We stayed there for 3 days and loved it. Had to go into town to pick up dinner and there is not much of a selection.

I remember when this resort was known for it being the first spa and high end hotel in the Cariboo. It brought in celebrities so I heard. Now it need some real upgrading. The resort is closed during the winter...Missing out on the Back Country Cross Country Skiing trend. The hotel opens up for the Christmas Week but does not promote any special Christmas theme or events. My son and I stayed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Our room was nice but really hot. I never saw so many heaters in one room. The gentleman that greeted us is named College and is really kind. He helped me with my cane and stayed with me as I climbed the steps. College also helped me to the car and opened the car door. A Real Gentleman. With the Resort being closed the for the winter and with no…

I stayed here for a couple months in the summer while working in the area. Great hotel, outdated but they have started updating in some rooms. Beautiful location, beautiful sunsets, pool and golf course on site. The restaurant up the road was good. All in all, the hotel is nothing special but suited my needs perfectly.

We have stayed here previously and were disappointed to see that what used to be such a lovely place is slowly wearing out. From the worn old carpets to the squeaky hard beds, this place needs a major overhaul. The pool was open but it was too cold and murky looking that other than dipping our toes in, we didn't bother trying to swim in . Having discovered this we would have stayed elsewhere as the pool was our main reason for booking here. The golf course was the only saving grace for this place, it is a nice well laid out course and well maintained. The restaurant across the road was well below par, to be fair the night we went they were hit with a lot more patrons than normal and without our server Marie, we would have left right away. she did her best to keep up and was…

We love this place but it needs help. It is for sale and new owners with big pockets could really make it paradise. We were given a remodelled room crner suite. All rooms have a deck and overlooks the golf course and pool. The sauna is downstairs but everything down ther is dingy and needs to be cleaned up. The pool was leaking and not sure if t was safe to swim in one day we were there lthough the staff were diligently trying to keep up with it. Great place to walk trails, there is a tennis court. A lot of things in disrepair. The restaurant is across the road rather thanin the complex like it used to be. We did not. Eat there s it was closed on the Monday but looked at it and menu and seemed good. People we spoke to said it was.

We have stayed here numerous times in the past on our travels, however the place is really in need of some updating. The beds are comfortable, but the rates are on the high side for what you get. We stayed a month ago and was disappointed at how downhill the place seems to be getting, which is to bad, because the views are amazing from the hotel.

Several members of our family attended a wedding held nearby and spent two night at this resort. My wife and I booked a suite with a small kitchen - stove, fridge and microwave - a king size bed, table and chairs and easy chair. The small balcony looked out over the nearby golf course and 108 Mile Lake. It was strange to see an ash tray on the table on the balcony, a sight we are not used to seeing anymore. The fridge did not work but was replaced on the second day. The fan in the washroom did not work in spite of assurances that it would be fixed. Housekeeping was mediocre - we found food wrappers under the end table. The room was spacious and the bed firm but comfortable. Wifi was pathetic and some members of our family were not able to access it at all except in the lobby.…

We had stayed at this property several years ago and really enjoyed it. However things have changed. There is no longer a dining room or lounge at the property. If you want an alcoholic beverage only option is to get one from a trailer down on the golf course. Regarding dining, there is a restaurant about a 3-4 min walk away. It is only open from 5-9 and closed on Monday. So if your stay is on a Monday I assume your only option would be to drive into 100 mile. Our room was large clean and and the bed was comfortable but very dated. The setting is beautiful and this property could be so much more with some updating and better facilities for dining.

We have been coming here for 6 years now..sometimes twice a year..and we LOVE it here..the staff are always friendly and VERY accommodating. We always feel at home here. We come here from Victoria BC and when we check in we are always greeted with a smile from the front desk and the house maids are AMAZING. The views from the rooms are awesome. They offer a free breakfast. Great outdoor pool. It may not be a 5 star hotel..but you also don't have a 5 star price. But the staff are definitely 5 star. We will continue to come here year after year.
