If you’re looking for luxury, you probably wouldn’t consider this hotel (and you’d be SOL around YEG anyway), but if you want a solid airport hotel, you could do worse. This is a clean, quiet hotel, with comfortable bedding and a decent pool/fitness area combination....More
This is not the newest Hampton Inn in the chain but it is comfortable; Staff is very pleasant and quite helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. The hotel proximity to the airport was ideal. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in town

Thank you very much for your wonderful review! We are very happy you enjoyed your stay, and look forward to having you again :)
Maybe we just got a bad room (room 234) but I found it smelled like old cigarette smoke, the carpets had sticky spots so I felt I had to wear socks the whole time, and the carpets also felt very damp, especially in front of...More

The breakfast follows a very typical "free breakfast" format. A larger seating area with a smaller room to the side in which the buffet is presented. There are the typical waffle makers and plexiglass cases with muffins and Danishes. Bowl of individual yogurts. Oatmeal with little dishes of craisins, slivered almonds and brown sugar. There is a bowl of hard boiled eggs. A bowl of fruit salad (that always tastes a little off, no matter where we go). Apples oranges and bananas, while. In metal "stay warm" pans there are usually hash browns, bacon, sausages and either scrambled eggs or individual omelettes. A selection of cereals. There may be other options too but that's the basics of it. I know those aren't all gluten free, but I think you would be ok.
We like having the free breakfast because we have 4 kids and it just makes things easier, but please be aware, it's the convenience, not the quality, that makes the breakfast a bonus. I actually LIKE the oatmeal, but other than that the food merely fills the void. It's hard to screw up hard boiled eggs and individual yogurts too.
Hope that helps.

Hi, we stayed at the Hampton for 7 nights and paid $118.00, there is a shuttle to the airport [free] and i believe it leaves every half hour, in the morning anyway. You have to book it the night before and on your return just call the hotel and they will pick you up at the airport.
