My mom and I (47 and 23, respectively) stayed here in the Upper East (Jackie Chan) room from July 23 to July 29 and it was a delightful experience. The room was large enough for 2 people to have enough space. The pull out sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable. The storage was ample and the A.C. was great. Zeke was...

Wow, thank you for such a detailed and informative review. I'm sure others appreciate learning more details of our Inn. The Upper East room, is our most recent renovation and seems like you enjoyed it. We were having housekeeping issues that week so I apologize - the housekeepers in question are no longer employed here. It's frustrating because we try...

We stayed one night in this's beautiful hotel. The hotel was converted from a boarding house into this quaint hotel. The owner is a very friendly accommodating fellow and he shared many interesting stories with us. Had really nice patio areas where you could sit outside and visit. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved the Heartwood. We found the service to be so personal and felt like we were the only guests at the Inn even though we know it was full. The owner, Zeke, went out of his way to ensure that we were comfortable and knew about all of the many attractions close by. He recommended a restaurant (Sublime) for...

My husband and I loved staying at this charming Inn. We stayed in the upper turret room and found it to be perfectly comfortable with a king size bed, large jacuzzi tub, and beautiful antique furnishings. The bed was very comfortable with nice soft sheets. We slept well as it was quiet and cool (air conditioner worked well). The Inn...

We try to be the most charming of the Charming Inns of Alberta who we are proudly associated with. The Upper Turret room is a favourite of guests especially the tall guys who prefer a king bed. We are planning an upgrade of the room and SHHH I can't tell you what it will be like. It's a secret! Perhaps...

We stayed at the Heartwood Inn with another couple for the third time this July. We had two rooms and a lovely living room attached where we could visit with Zeke and have a glass of wine before going to the play in RoseBud. Zeke prepared his amazing breakfast for us. They are constantly renovating and renewing. The grounds and...

Ah, the Main East and Main Turret - they are a great option for 2 couples who want to be able to visit but want their own sleeping space. The fireplace lounge is like a private living room for those rooms since they are the only rooms on the main floor. You are also situated close to the dining room...

We stayed 5 nights in the Chancel suite during our Drumheller mini-vacation. Our toddler slept in a crib in the main bedroom so we could have the rest of the place to ourselves in the evenings. The pull-out couch was better than most, and the Murphy bed was quite comfortable. The cottage was stocked with everything we could need (shampoo,...

The chancel and bungalow are our most popular units for families. they are booked solid all summer long. On the occassion that we are not offering breakfast there is a Freson Bros grocery store just a five min walk, and a few blocks down are 3 restaurants that offer breakfast. I am sorry you weren't aware of them. Typically the...

We stayed in the Chancel- a self-contained cottage right beside the Inn. It was comfortable and clean and we liked having the back yard and BBQ, though we didn't use them. The Murphy bed was kinda neat, and certainly we got a good sleep on it. I can't think of any place that would have suited us better.

We appreciate your review and look forward to having you back again soon. Was the beautiful deck there when you were here? Yes, we have added a raised deck in the back yard just a few weeks ago - another reason to return.

When we decided to go to Drumheller for a mini-vacation, we wanted to stay in a cabin as our two families love camping and the outdoors. The one RV park that has cabins was sold out, so we found the Heartwood had a bungalow with a firepit that was available so we booked! We stayed in the Vacation Bungalow. It's...

Thank you so much for your kind words, and helpful advise to future guests. The bungalow is perfect for families with the water feature, firepit and bbq and like you mentioned lots of chairs and tables. We do have great plans for the bungalow - new vinyl plank floors throughout, new fancy schmancy bathroom - where there will be a...

Nice looking Inn in Drumheller. I would not stay a second time. We reserved a room in the lower level, basement that is. When we checked in, two couples, the owner said you have the dungeon to yourself. The room was clean and comfortable, but it was a humid basement room. Maybe another room would have been a better selection....

It's always appreciated when travellers take the time to give us a review this is when we find out where we can improve. Like not joking about the lower rooms as being a dungeon - I don't know what's the matter with Zeke but he thinks it's hillarious to say that! Many of our repeat guests ask for the lower...

We stopped here for a night on our way home to BC and stayed in the East room. Room was clean, bed was comfy. Thank you for your kind review in spite of Zeke's poor sense of humour. We are not a bed and breakfast and do not offer breakfast daily. However, the coffee is always made fresh and served in our dining room or in your room - whatever your preference.
