I wish more people reviewing on Trip Advisor could pass a test that could determine whether or not they had the politeness to post reviews or not. The Koh Mook Riviera Beach resort was perfect for our 3 day stay and we would have easily stayed longer if we didn't have to fly home. The resort is quiet and you...

Dear Guests Thank you for your positive feedback. Many happy guests come and go, yet few take the time to share their thoughts with others and so this is very much appreciated. We feel encouraged to continue what we do and to strive to improve (the drains are being looked into as we write!). We have also shared your review...

We are family of three who love the beach and sea. Went in the end of Apr and got free updated to the sea front villa. The place did not provide the normal buffet breakfast but to make upon order. Slightly overpriced for what you got but the sitting area got a great seaview. Can have breakfast there once or...

First off, this place is not a resort. That should be made abundantly clear to anyone thinking of staying here. When I think of a resort, I think of a place where you are pampered and luxuries, like a spa, room service, maybe even a golf course, are readily available or accessible. The Riviera Beach Resort does not even have...

To whoever reads this review, the following is not an attempt to enter into an argument as to the above but rather to present our case as we experienced it. In life there is always two sides of the story. The following is ours: 1. The expectations of what constitutes a “resort” differ with each individual and country. Our use...

Well .. this resort proves that It doesn’t always have to be expensive to be good. We asked our travel agency – the crew at amdaman adventure – yes they did great work too ! if you could find a nice place to stay on a PRISTINE tropical island in Thailand for under 75 bucks per night. They recommended Riviera...

We stayed for 3 nights and it was on a great beach with palms. We had a good room with tv and medicore, not-so-great bathroom. room at beachfront, beautiful in the morning. We had gekkos in the room, which took care of most insects. The staff was a little rude, with fake smiles. Bring cash because their visa machine was...

On the opposite side of the island to Charlie beach, but only a 50bt taxi ride away! Location not very attractive at low tide. Bedroom pretty clean with aircon, bathroom basic. Breakfast was extra cost making it not great value for money. We ate evening meal at a place just around the corner called 'Boon chu cuisine'. Quite a wait...

Good accomodation on cozy Koh Mook. A place to just relax and take it easy for a couple of days. Big rooms. Lots of space on the private beach. Free DVDs and books to borrow. The manager is supersweet, speaks good English and really take care of the guests. We had a pleasant stay there.

We had been to Krabi, Koh Lanta and Koh PhiPhi before going to Koh Mook - and it was a great decision. This hotel is clean, the rooms are huge (though basic equipment), the Thai-food in the restaurant is awesome (for bigger meals you have to book 3h in advance) and friendly staff. You have to keep in mind that...

Very basic. AC + bed + running water (no warm water, would have been nice in the morning). Small zoo in our kids' room (frogs, ants). Beach really good when high tide, at low tide you need to walk a bit in the mud. But to be honest, it is very picturesque! Palms over the beach, blue sea, so if...

On the other side of Charlie beach (very quiet) , the hotel looks like its build without personal touch. Welcome very cold...we thought when we booked the best room categorie (sea view villa for 4200 B) it must be amazing. The villa was small, not cozy, very cheap quality furnitures. Ground floor no AC, just 1st floor, where the bed...

“Only stay in beachfront villa”
lesley3003, 8 Dec 2015 | Read review
“The garden rooms are perfect. The ocean views would be nice but not a neccessity. The high/low tide could be an issue if you wanted to wake up early to the ocean as the high tide comes late morning but I'm sure those rooms are still romantic! The garden rooms are a 1 minute walk to the beach and a have a nice neighborly feel with the other guests staying - don't worry though they're still quiet and private!”

“If you are a couple, definitely the front row individual villa, with children, the duplex seems a better choice”

“The rooms are quite large. We stayed in skyroom #301. But it does not matter how big the room is when there is no hot water and and you cannot get clean sheets until the third day of your visit.”
