The hotel was wonderful great staff. The tents on the beach we loved we had unit #16 right next to the water. Perfect location. My advise is to go away from the front lobby a bit but then you have to walk more so your call. The GM was wonderful super informative and friendly. The waterfall hike was amazing. It...

During a 2 month trip thru Asia my girlfriend and I spend 5 amazing days at Moyo Island. From the arrival to departure the staff of Amanwana led by the GM Livio could not have been more attentive and focused on nothing else but to make the guests happy . The tents are well kept , spacious and better then...

If you’re seeking a truly exotic place, Moyo Island in Indonesia is a very nice place for a holiday. My friends and I spent a week there in 2007. We had a room at the amanwana resort. In fact, it’s the only resort in the island but certainly a place to visit. What makes Amanwana resort so unique is not...

I told the Island manager I would review our stay and 5 and a bit years on I am as good as my word! Please note the "when did you travel" question for reviews does not allow you to (understandably) go back 5 and a bit years so I have had to tick May 2013 to enable the review to...

From the time of your dramatic arrival via floatplane at Amanwana's dock to the time you leave, you will be taken care of and pampered in the best Aman style. The tents are of course extremely luxurious, beautiful and comfortable. There is not a big difference between the ocean tents and the less expensive "jungle" tents; all tents face the...

We stayed for 5 nights at the Amanwana and loved the luxury tent camping experience. I loved the scuba diving opportunities and the dive master was a friendly swede. The food was great and the service aslo first rate. The only downside was that the water quality suffered and the beachj had garbage on it from debris coming in from...

Stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed every day of the visit. The staff are so friendly, there is a lovely laid back feel to the place, and you really feel you're in the middle of nowhere. Great beach, snorkelling and diving. The waterfall trip was also enjoyable The restaurant service was sometimes a bit haphazard but nothing annoying. Honeycomb ice-cream...

Stayed at Amanwana Moyo Island for 5 nights at the end of a 20 day tour through Bali and Indonesia. The location of the resort is superb. From the moment you get on the sea plane you know you are going somewhere special. If remote seclusion is what you want then you will not be disappointed. However, the resort is...

Unique resort in a singular - and given its remoteness - completely safe location. Very friendly and motivated staff. Splendid accommodation. Abundant and fresh (own vegetable and herb garden) food. More pastimes than we could fit in! Great for honeymooners, families with kids (you will hardly get to see them as the staff really knows how to keep them busy...
