Hotel situated is center of city with Restaurant. Rooms are very clean and quiet. the contact with the people at the reception was very good and friendly. just a small problem is that the restaurant is closed on Monday and you than need a car to find a good restaurant because the most of them are closed on Monday. Otherwize,...

We just spent one evening there in the restaurant. So I just give a feedback about food and service. Starting with the service, it took more than 2 hours to get our food. We were 8 people and the restaurant was more or less empty. The dishes were partly damaged, but the waiter told us that he saw it and...

Take care: the hotel is without staff between 14h00 and 16h00 if I remember well.No chance to check in (or out) in this time. This is for sure annoying (specially if it's raining...) and it's the only reason for the low rating. Said that the staff is nice, the rooms are clean and quite big and there is free wifi...

We have spent 3 days in this hotel in April 2014. We would not recommend it for two reasons: First of all because the food and second because of the horrible staff (management). Our booking included a three course and a four course menu: they served us 'old' spaghetti (not freshly cooked), asparagus drowned in really fat Hollandaise sauce and...

Location for us was good, en route from the Netherlands to Saarbrucken. The town of Wadern is small, provincial, do not expect city nightlife, but do enjoy a relaxing drink in the square and proximity to lovely countryside and under and hour from Saarbrucken or Trier. The hotel itself is stylishly renovated, the staff friendlly, professional and helpful, rooms very...

We had the pleasure to stay at Dagstuhler Hof for 3 nights recently. The owner, his daughter and the staff made us feel like old friends almost immediately despite the fact that we speak no German. The rooms are comfortable, the food is great and the hospitality is unparalleled. The owner is on-site continuously and personally sees to the needs...

The place has been totally refurbished to become a hotel a few years ago. The rooms are very large, nicely decorated and clean. We definitely enjoyed the warm and charming welcome. Our dinner there was the best food we have had in Germany so far : amazing beef with chanterelle mushrooms. Nice breakfast buffet. (Just remember : no lift and...

Very nice little hotel, old house well renovated, the rooms are very modern. Great shower as well! But we were unlucky to get one of the rooms on the street side, which is very loud (all night), and since there is no air con, it is pretty hard to sleep with opened windows. Also the mattress was so soft, that...
