The staff were amazing going out of their way to make us feel pampered, the breakfasts were very nicely presented, the dinner our first night after many hours of traveling was just what we needed to awake our senses. Chef Guillaume Delaune prepared the most gastronomical palette popping dinner we have ever tasted. The fresh herbs from the garden was... More

We have stayed at Relais and Chateau properties, but this one had the best food by far, better than the Michelin starred restaurant we ate at in Sonoma Valley. Staying here was like being at an English Country Manor. They called us just before our arrival to welcome us and to hear more precisely when we would arrive. They are... More

We have spent 5 beautiful days at Kingsbrae Arms, St. Andrews. The owners, Harry and David, are absolutely wonderful, will bend over backwards to accommodate your requests. The staff at the hotel are young people, some students from other countries doing their internship (very refreshing approach to staffing). They all try very hard to make your stay pleasant and to... We decided to do a tour through a part of Canada that we had not visited before and after planning our trip decided a night at Saint Andres by the Sea would be nice. Kingsbrae Inn was wonderful! I can't say enough nice things about it. An old manor house restored to a Inn, overlooking beautiful gardens with the St... More

Every once in a while, you come across an establishment ... actually, a set of people and the setting in which they are situated ... that transcends the ordinary in such a remarkable way that you know you will never forget the experience. That is how I can best describe our time at Kingsbrae Arms. From the very first contact... More

The Kingsbrae Arms is as close as you will come to an English country house weekend in Atlantic Canada. If you've watched a Miss Marple movie or read some P. G. Wodehouse then you'll recognize the elements: a beautiful property with lots of character, an elaborate garden on the grounds, diverse guests dining together every night, and professional staff who... Enjoying our first vacation in Canada, we booked this place while looking for a relais-chateau and staid there for three nights in july/august. Knowing this places from France and Switzerland, our expectation were very high. We were lucky to get a suite and we enjoyed it from the very first moment. The place is very quite, spacious, well furnished and... More

We are now booking a fifth trip to stay at this wonderful Hotel in September 2012, an establishment without doubt well worthy of its membership of the Relais & Chateau organization, and we're amazed to read some of the recent reviews. We were only at the Hotel in May this year and as ever enjoyed fantastic hospitality from excellent and... More

When we first arrived (in mid-August) at the height of the tourist season and found this hotel almost empty, I suspected something was wrong. After the problems of my two-day stay in a "junior suite" I discovered why so few people were coming to this Relais & Chateaux hotel. Our $545/night room had a small window air-conditioner that was noisy.... More

Kingsbrae Arms a rip-off? Not to countless guests who have enjoyed our hospitality, food & peaceful surroundings for the last 16 years. I can't let that charge go unchallenged. The dust hadn’t settled on the gravel drive this morning when this review hit Trip Advisor. Apparently our departing guest was in a hurry to get this posted. Odd, because these... More

We had a wonderful time here. The accommodations were gorgeous, the service and the staff were so kind and the food was fabulous. Next door is the Kingsbrae Garden which I can highly recommend. There is whale watching that will not disappoint and a lovely, lovely town.
