St. Andrews-by-the-Sea is certainly the most beautiful village in all of New Brunswick and one of the most beautiful in all of Canada (right up there with Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, and Trinity, Newfoundland). Rose-Ann and Joe could not be more gracious or helpful as hosts - on the day of my very early departure, Rose-Ann left a...

My wife and I were greeted by Joe upon our arrival, and he made us feel most welcome immediately. The accommodations were excellent, the breakfasts were delicious, varied and if anything, too large. The baking and breakfasts by Rose-Anne and Joe were first class, and special mention goes to the stuffed French Toast and the Eggs Benedict, along with accompanying...

My husband and I stayed at the Montague Rose for just one night as we were spending some time in St. Andrews. It was in a great location, close to downtown. It is an old house but kept very clean and up to date. We stayed in a spacious room with a canopy bed and private bathroom. In the morning,...

The warm friendly greeting was a good indication of what the rest of our stay would be like. It was our first time there but Joe made us feel like we were family coming home. It is so beautiful and full of charm on a quiet street. Joe is a perfect host and Rose makes the best pecan scones I’ve...

We arrived at the Montague Rose on a beautiful sunny warm day with a warm welcome from Joe. Our room was lovely with a big comfy canopy bed and pullout couch. After a long drive we were happy to sit out on their lovely deck and enjoy the beautiful back yard. The next morning at 5 am Hurricane Arthur started...

Even though this is a historical building in St Andrews, the amenities are all up to date. We never used the flat screen TV or the DVD but they had an amazing selection. The breakfasts served were amazing and tasty (we stayed two nights). The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. Well worth the trip.

We really like the B & B , the service was great, the knowledge of the area and things to do added to our stay. The B & B located in the St. Andrews historic district was ideal in both a short walk and options for food and activities. We are planning to include another stop here when we are...

I would like to thank Joe and Rose for a wonderful stay back in June 2014. During my stay my luggage went missing at the airport and Joe and Rose went far and above my expectations in retrieving it which was so much appreciated. The atmosphere was so quite and relaxing, excellent food, service impeccable, and so friendly. All in...
