We travel to northern Manitoba yearly. We find the rooms clean and comfortable. Our dog is always welcome. In the morning at check out when you take your keys back to the main office you can pick up fresh warm muffins and coffee to start your morning journey. We will stay again next year, its clean, dependable, comfortable and safe....

I stayed there twice 2 weeks apart and the rooms were worlds apart. The rooms on the front are basic motel rooms - clean & comfortable; however, the rooms at the back are rough and very well used. I imagine they use the back rooms when they are very busy, which they were, but even so, they do need renovating.

We stayed in this motel in August 2014 - it was a very nice clean motel - fresh blueberry muffins in the morning! Basic but very clean rooms with free wifi & a fireplace if you needed it! Would stay there again!

My first impression of this motel was basic. It's like any other motel. The front desk man was very helpful. And very nice! We had free wifi and a pretty good TV. Beds were kinda hard. Very small room, but has a walk inn closet, which was helpful when it came to storing our stuff. Taps in the bathroom sink...

The Algoma Motel provided us with a great night's stay after a long drive from Winnipeg! When we arrived, we were greeted with a friendly smile and great service. The room is absolutely perfect. The beds and pillows are comfortable; the bathroom is clean and modern. There is a nice flat screen tv to enjoy as well as a bar...

Had a very long drive we pulled up to the motel and it was nice and quite. The front desk lady was very friendly and hospital. They had no problem that we had two dogs. Would recommend to anyone. Also great free fresh baked muffins in the morning.

We stayed before a fly in bear hunt. The place was updated, clean and quiet. For a small motel I was thrilled with the bath. It appeared to have been recently redone. The tub/shower was clean and appeared new (I stayed at some of the small local motels and the baths can be a nightmare). On our next trip through,...

Older woman at the desk was more interested in gossiping and bashing locals than pay much attention to us. Rooms are outdated and could have seriously used some dusting and vacuming. In the morning around 9:15am we were woken up by a young house keeper who was incredably unprofessional and dirty looking herself, she told us it wasn't check out...

Like most of the places in Wawa to stay, this is a very clean and quiet motel. The locals take pride in their properties. These are not all inclusive resorts, but a good place to spend the night while on the road. The owner had hot muffins and coffee in the morning and would actually converse with you. Would not...

Needed a place to stay while working in Wawa and found this little gem. Clean rooms, excellent service - you can't go wrong with the Algoma Motel. The owner is pleasant, friendly and cares about the establishment. Defiantly recommend for weary travelers.
