I made reservations 6 to 8 months ahead of time checked on them twice as this was 1000 plus miles away in remote Northern Ontario. Reserved 5 rooms for 11 travelers. When we arrived they had 3 rooms for us and wanted to put 11 people in 3 rooms. I was told they had never had 5 rooms but 5... More

We are in the business of selling rooms. The more we can sell in the form of early reservations the better for us. There is no reason to replace existing reservation with the later one. (it does not make any sense) Try to organize your business better and don't blame us for your mistakes Mr. Group Planner. P.S. Repeat bear... More

Stayed here after driving 12 hours on my way to Thunder Bay. The room was spacious with a bed and sitting area. Had a quiet night as the hotel is in a hill above the hyway so trucks cannot be heard. The room was clean

We stayed here after a long 11 hour drive. We called from Sault Ste. Marie to see if they had vacancy and we were very lucky that they did. We drove right past the Mystic Isle and had to make a U-turn to get back to it. It is set off the road so you'll need watch for the sign.... More

Interesting location up off the highway on a hill. Quiet. The room was very spacious. Only complaint was the bathroom smelled a little moldy. The log walls were interesting, while the flourescent lighting a little stark. Appreciated the windows at front and back to get flow-through breeze.

My family had never stayed in a motel before and this was a very good experience. There was a patio with a barbeque for guests to use. It looked like a cabin inside, and was situated on top of a hill. We were very close to some waterfalls and there were free DVD's that we could use.

We stayed here after a long day of driving, the staff was pleasant check in was quick and easy. We got the "highway special" price. Only minor things were the front window didn't open and the washroom fan did not work. Otherwise a nice stop.

The rooms are clean beds are firm and comfortable with good water pressure in the shower. No restaurant but town is only 4 km down the road. Only problem were mosquitoes... More

We were two couples on a fishing/nature trip, we stayed at the motel for 2 nights, and had a great time. The rooms were always clean and well taken care of. You are among nature, and us four really loved it. Away from everything just an overall great time to regroup. The management had a great sense of humour. We... More

This motel, we found very clean and overall good value for the money spent. There were 3 of us, and we were provided with a room with two queen size beds upon our request. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It is located nearby a forrest, which to us was a bonus since we like the nature as well.... More

I have stayed one night at this motel up on the hill several times in several different years and my room is always clean and it has always been quiet. Perfect for one night on a fishing trip from Ohio to Armstrong, Ontario. We will always come back. It might be a few dollars more then some others in the... More
