Just got home from a beautiful night with my soon to be husband. We had an amazing stay. The views are incredible and the sunset was perfect. It was a great way to unwind before out wedding day next weekend. The cabins are adorable, but dated. We had everything we needed but we packed and prepped our meals at home...

This is our third time at Fossil Bay - LOVE IT! It is THE perfect place to truly relax! Cabins are impeccably clean. We stop in Sooke - stock up on food and drink and we're good to go! It's so wonderful to wake up in the morning and look out at that beautiful view! We will be back!

My husband and I came for our wedding anniversary. It was great! We stayed in cabin 2. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook with. (Bring your own coffee) Bed was big and comfy. Pillows were ok... The private hot tub overlooking the ocean is to die for!!! That was the best part that's for sure! It would've...

We stayed at Fossil Bay for three days just after we eloped in Tofino. Our cabin was clean, comfortable, and most importantly, so private the only other person we glimpsed for two of three days was Maria when she came to check the levels of the hot tub. The surroundings were gorgeous and quiet. It was an excellent place to...

We stayed at the Fossil Bay Resort from June 20 to 24, 2016 for our honeymoon and I am not sure I can put into words what this place will provide you. It is a very simplistic place. When you check in you are met by the husband or wife, who are the owners. You grab the coffee you need...

Some reviews suggest that this property is dated, but really, you are here to enjoy the view in the hot tub. And it is amazing...the sound of the crashing waves, ahhh! So relaxing. The amenities are functional: the bed was nice and comfortable, the fireplace is a nice touch but not for heat, kitchenette works well. Now, that said, there...

First of all, you're paying for the view. It is without question beautiful. There are not many spots in this area to enjoy the ocean front and that's what you're coming for. As far as running a business to accommodate travelers in a remote area looking for an exceptional experience, this is a huge shortcoming for this resort. The ocean...

Highlights, without question were the view and the private hot tub. We were visited by stellar jays and eagles while sipping wine and enjoying the sunset--pretty fantastic. The experience is pretty true to the website. Quiet. Clean. Peaceful. Yes, the decor is slightly dated, but we really didn't mind. Very functional kitchen. Had some trouble working the fireplace without getting...

This was our third stay at Fossil Bay resort and, I'm afraid, this time there were problems. The pros are - very private, lovely view, Maria the owner- is lovely, dogs are allowed (we have a small dog) Question - why is there a dog on the bed in the photo when dogs aren't allowed on the furniture? Now, the...

I really loved the view, the quiet location. The kitchen clean and simple. I would expect to pay around 100 or 149 for a cabin like this. We paid 219 plus tax a night. It was well over priced for winter. The bedding and décor is dated. The hot tub was not hot. Just kinda warm. Give it an ok.
