The #1 thing this place has going for it, is the private hot tub on the balcony of each cabin that is overlooking the ocean. You can't get a view much better than this...anywhere. The cabins are clean, well stocked and comfortable. There is wifi, TV with cable channels, a kitchenette, and a wood-burning fireplace to add to the comfort...

Lovely cabins overlooking the ocean with a hot tub on each deck. Well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, and a fireplace. The best part was sitting I. The hot tub after a hike to Mystic beach. There is very little light pollution so we were able to see so many stars and even the Milky Way! The tile floor was...

Long story short, I wanted to book a cabin for 2 nights around Christmas. In discussion with the staff, I learned the cabin was vacant for 4 nights, between bookings. Since I only wanted 2 nights and their policy is 3 nights minimum on holidays, they denied my business in hopes of getting someone requesting more nights. So no, I...

The location is stellar - private cottages right above the ocean, looking straight across the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Our cottage was clean and tidy, with a hot tub on the deck and a wood-burning fireplace. However, it really lacked modernity and, aside from the view, much charm; all it would need is perhaps some updated furniture, some nice...

Shirley BC is a BEAUTIFUL part of the world and Fossil Bay Resort is perfectly located to explore gorgeous hikes and beaches. Road Trip to Mystic, Sombrio or Botanical (to name a few!) take your pick of stunning beaches. The resort is very easy to find and close to the fantastic Shirley Delicious Cafe (open 8-5 every day). I can't...

This place is 25 minutes west of Sooke, and then the road dead ends at the National Park in another 45 minutes. There isn't a lot going on around, except for incredible views, beautiful driftwood strewn beaches, and temperate rainforest trails. One nice restaurant 5 minutes away, or drive to Sooke. But there is a fully equipped kitchen, so bring...

We were so fortunate to find this place. It is everything we could look for in a vacation spot. The hosts were extremely helpful at check in. The cottage was clean, the view amazing, the hot tub was just the right touch to start the day and end the day. The close proxmity to the Juan de Fuca Trails made...

My husband and I recently stayed here as a getaway from Victoria for a couple of days. The cottage had everything we needed to relax. It was very clean although the leather couch has seen better days. The hot tub on our very private deck was superb. Spotless and very well maintained. The view went on forever. We would definitely...

I loved this wonderful resort. It's remote and secluded yet easy to get to. We really enjoyed the ocean front cottage, it had everything we needed and was exceptionally clean. The log burning fire and hot tub just made it so much more special. There are only 6 cottages and although we saw a couple of other cars parked up,...
