We drove 40 minutes from Invermere to cross country ski for the day. We were greeted by friendly staff at the day lodge (barn) and paid $12 for the day. Ted waxed our skis expertly and Diane recommended the best trails. We enjoyed the varied terrain, perfectly groomed trails, and priceless views. The warming huts are perfect for lunch and...

I almost hesitate to talk about what a gem this place is! Off the grid and committed to the natural world, Nipika is a place that walks the walk. Put away your phone and experience the beauty of nature right at your doorstep. You can ski, snowshoe, hike, trail run, bike, skate, and raft here. The cabins have comfy beds...

The best cross country trails we have been on. Good equipment. Decent prices. Excellent views of the majestic Rockies. Instead of Leavenworth trails, we will drive the extra seven hours and come back here with our kids.

We visited Nipika during a ski vacation at Panorama. Coming from Ottawa we are blessed with abundant snow, long stable winters and superb ski venues. Thus high expectations of the Rockies! Tried every other Nordic venue nearby but were frustrated and disappointed with conditions and commitment to grooming. Until we heard about Nipika that is. There had been a couple...

We have been coming since the resort opened and our yearly 4 days of skiing is always the best. The trails are well groomed and marked. The cabins are great and a pleasure to stay in. The staff is most helpful and available.

Wonderful place with great management and staff. Even with marginal snow conditions for XC skiing, they waxed our skis for us and it worked great. They are experts! Loved our cabin, the quiet, the fresh air, the night sky.... too many superlatives to mention. We are already planning our summer trip.

Nipika has fabulous trails for cross country skiing, fat biking, and snowshoeing - with rentals on site. Stay in a cozy cabin on site and spend one day skiing, rent a fat bike the next day, and add some time in for skating on the local rink or sledding on Mount Sledmore. Great fun for the whole family! We recently...

The Rocky Mountain Cabin was an ideal "home away from home" for our group of 11 cross-country skiers/snowshoers and one fat- tire biker. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. The views across the valley from the cabin were wonderful and we could begin our skiing/biking directly from the cabin door. We came home from our outdoor...

We had a blast. The snow was great. I skied, snowshoed, fat tire biked and skated. I was happily exhausted when I left. So was my dog. Great staff. We appreciated the morning waxing advice and tips in the barn from Lyle.

Nipika is a bit of a run off the main track. An this is a fantastic feature. Do not expect any electronic contact with the rest of the planet. the cabins are cozy and comfortable and the trails/views unmatched. Countless stars to see at night and the perfect location to relax and unplug. We went with the family to ski...
