Way overpriced for what it is! It's clean and that's about it. Bathroom is for "small people" or little kids. Old school motel that badly needs upgrading. Half used conditioner and hand cream in bottles. Restaurant is closed (should say on website). Did I say way overpriced. Should be a $50 motel.

La Roma is a quiet, clean and conveniently located (after you know where to turn off the Trans-Canada Highway) overnight stop which was very visible from the old TCH. Started by Italian-Canadian owners, it has been taken over by some nice folks with local roots. Large rooms with needed conveniences, including WiFi.

I really don't think you can do better for the price. We arrived on a freezing cold night and were so happy to check into a clean, cozy and spacious room with a whirlpool tub. The receptionist was helpful and it's a quick drive into downtown Edmundston. Thank you La Roma Motel, we will definitely stay again!

We stayed here once before, and returned because it has a simple restaurant with good food. Sadly, when we booked the room, the owner forgot to mention that the restaurant was closed for the season. This omission afforded her some amusement, just as on our previous visit she chuckled because she forgot to mention that she was out of nonsmoking...

On our way back from Cape Breton we decide to stay in Edmundston for the night. We didn't want to spend a lot of money just to rest our heads, because we would be getting there late. So we booked a room here. we were very pleasantly surprised. Everything you could want in a room. Very clean, fridge, microwave, table...

Very clean. The room had everything we needed. Owners take excellent care of the motel and take great pride in its upkeep. The on-site restaurant served good home cooked food. It was nice not to have to drive all over town looking for a place to eat. We would definitely stay again.

Rooms are clean. Owners are nice people very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are out dated but it's a decent place to stay for a good night's rest. Cabins are like an older rustic cottage type setting. Beds are not the most comfortable but will due for a night.
