Stayed: June 9th, 2022 Property: An older wooden frame building with in front a long open porch facing Lake Duhamel. It is approx. 5 minutes from St-Jovite. Room Type: A basic room with a double bed, a washroom; outdated furniture, a small TV, a minifridge and no soundproofing in the walls. Pros: Situated off highway 117, nestled in a green setting, standing on a porch with a nice view of the front yard and of a private beach. Cons: A very aging structure with a 70s look & feel; room needs lots of maintenance and some fresh paint; burned out light bulbs, a wall thermostat that did not work; a few vertical blinds that fell off the track; bedding & mattress that was not comfortable, a breakfast that is not a “continental breakfast” and no coffee maker in the room. Cleanliness: for cleanliness it could have been a lot better; there was very stale air and no air conditioning. Rating: 2 and we do not recommend this motel.…
We loved our stay. This place is a hidden gem. I would recommend this place if you want to be in a quiet and peaceful location with Private Beach!!!!! We loved swimming in the lac plus the water is super clear. They have life jackets if you wanna canoe. Volleyball net with wide area to play. If you enjoy birding make sure you bring your binoculars. Plus it's located just minutes away from the Village. Thank you Julie & David for being so warm welcoming and accommodating. We are returning for sure.
We love staying at this motel every time we come to Mont Tremblant for our annual ski trip! This was probably our 6th time staying there and it was great once again. The owners Julie and David are so friendly and always welcome us with a smile! It’s not a fancy place but it is clean, comfortable, affordable and very close to Mont Tremblant skiing/Village. We stayed in room 11 the first night which is very spacious and has a small kitchen area which was convenient. Then we stayed in room 18 for 2 nights which had 1 double bed and a bunk bed. Good for a family with kids. Continental breakfast is included which is nice- fresh muffins, toast, cereal, orange juice and coffee. There is also a shared kitchen at the motel that can be used to make your own meals if you want. We will definitely stay here again!…
If you are looking for an affordable, clean, quiet place in the middle of nature then look no further. Yes, there's some negative reviews, it's old, table top at the back balcony is not smooth, children's toys are very old and not safe, needs to be changed, hot water take longer to run YET me and my family are very happy. We stayed 2 nights and beds are clean, comfortable, enough towels and soaps in the toilet. Every morning by 7/7:30 we go to the kitchen to get the breakfast which was included, generous amount of bread, butter, cereals, coffee, juice etc. It was basically all self served so pretty much all kinds of utensils are there, all you have to do is use and wash them after. Pedal boats and canoes at the Lake are extra bonus. The fall surrounding was breath taking! The owner husband-wife very friendly and responsive. I got stuck on the lake with the pedal boat so I called Julie to get some help and within few minutes her husband rushed to the lake with a canoe to rescue!!!! We are very happy except those few minor things, we highly recommend this place and hoping to return next year. Raihan.…
Very nice motel/hotel nice view of the mountain and a bonus beach with free canoe or peddle boat. Will come back again for sure. Very welcoming hosts as well, the kitchen was nice as well. .Thank you.
We had an incredible time during our weekend stay - The owners are extremely responsive and attentive hosts, and it is a beautiful space! The beds are very comfortable too. We would definitely come back in a heart beat.
Stayed here for winter ski 3 night stay. For the price, this was more than okay. Bed is more comfortable than average for a motel quality and free continental breakfast included. Hot water was slow but it did eventually come. Heat was just adequate with single baseboard but it was not too freezing cold during this month. Might need more heat during coldest days of winter. Outdated look for sure but acceptable given the price. Walls between rooms are thin though so sound does carry. At least my neighbours were all quiet by 10 pm. Location just ten minutes drive to Tremblant and just off highway. Keep i mind no microwave in rooms but has fridge. There is a common kitchen for your use. I just decided to bring my own microwave due to covid. No desk in my room but again, given the price this was okay for this trip.…
I went with my mom and some family friends—it was a breathtaking view at such an affordable price! The owners were the kindest and the lake was perfect for boating and swimming this time of year. I hope we can go back soon!
Very Nice Experience. We stayed there for three nights. Its nearby Mont Tremblant Resort. Downtown is very near and plenty of options for food. Good breakfast and a communal kitchen. Very homely for family.
The room was well suited for our family of 4 without any issues. Our kids never complained about the Wifi service which was a nice surprise. The Wifi service was excellent. Enough electrical outlets throughout the room to charge 4 devices or more. The facility had a nice kitchen with all the necessary pans, pots, dishware and ultensils to prepare your own meals if you wanted to go that route. Ample parking and it was only about a 5 minute drive to the village for all the restaurants and shops. To get to Mont Tremblant resort it was an easy 8 to 10 minute drive. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Very quiet and comfortable. Our family enjoyed our stay there. Would go back. Sally and Martin
