This is a partially-restored home from about 1880 just a couple of blocks away from the Lunenburg Harbour and Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic. The young lady who is the new owner is very nice and personable. She said she will be doing some restorations this Winter, and the house may look different in the next season from what I...

My partner and stayed here for one night the end of September. The room was gorgeous and bed was super comfy. We woke up to the smell of a fantastic breakfast that was prepared with local ingredients. The owner was so friendly and it was lovely how she sat with us and other guests in the parlor in the evening...

We recently stayed 3 nights at this lovely vintage B&B. Excellent location with guest parking; close to all amenities and services. Great harbour view and just up the hill from the waterfront Main Street. Wonderful home cooked breakfasts. Lovely Aletha does all that she can to make one's stay enjoyable. we highly recommend and would return if visiting Lunenburg again.

Just new owners by 2 months so there are a few rough edges. Our room had a harbour view on the second floor. Bed is fairly comfortable. We did not get our room cleaned despite there only being 2 rooms used on the first night we were there. Breakfast was ok. Not amazing. She is by herself so making breakfast,...

The new owners of this beautiful old house of typical 19th century Nova Scotian coastal architecture successfully combine an antique structure and furnishings with contemporary artwork and amenities. If you can climb to the third floor (no elevator), book the Bluenose suite. It runs from the back exterior staircase to the alcove at the front of the house overlooking the...

the 1880 Kaulbach House has recently been taken over by new management. Elisa was warm and accommodating despite her new owner challenges of managing a busy 6 room Inn. The Inn is well maintained and comfortable with solid internet connectivity throughout the house. The televisions are embarrassingly small and need to be refreshed but overall, we enjoyed a comfortable stay.

We stayed at the B&B for 4 nights in July. Great location, charming house and very good breakfast every morning, The new owners were very nice and service minded. The wifi provided was a bit unstable, but they were currently waiting for the service provider to sort that out so that shouldn't be a lasting problem. Highly recommended!

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We've had a new Access Point installed to improve the internet access so it should be better next time you visit.

We stayed at Kaulbach House in late July. The new owners are making several upgrades that will gild the lily. We had a twin bed room with air conditioning, which was much needed at that time. Breakfast was outstanding. I also appreciated the coffee facilities in the room as I am an early riser. Parking in the back can be...

Apparently under relatively new ownership, the hostess made every effort to make our stay comfortable., and she certainly succeeded. Our room was called "Harbourview"... and yes, it did have a view of the harbor, though limited due to the configuration of the room. Certainly not a big deal since there was a lovely sitting area for two right outside our...
