This B&B is located within easy walking to downtown Lunenburg. Susan and Sebelle are gracious hosts who made excellent recommendations on restaurants. We especially enjoyed The Savvy Sailor for scallops that rivaled Digby scallops for sure. I wish I could go back and eat another meal there. Lunenburg is a treat and Susan and Sebelle will make your you enjoy... More

We stayed two nights at the Atlantic Sojourn, and we're so happy we did, both because we loved Lunenburg, and because we loved the B&B. Your hosts will be absolutely sure you are outfitted with all of the information you need to make your adventures in Lunenburg and surrounding area one of the highlights of your trip. Spent only one night here and wished it could have been more. Our visit started off well when Sebelle and Susan graciously let us check in 4 hours early so we could get unloaded before the forecast rain arrived. Our room (Lady Slipper) was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bathroom is a bit small but perfectly adequate for us. The... More

We spent 2 lovely nights in Lunenburg and luckily at the Atlantic Sojourn. Beautiful , historic house but it is Susan and Sebelle whose care and enthusiasm make this B&B a wonderful stay. Their hospitality and attention to every detail made it a joy to come home after long hot days, touristing. Fabulous recommendations of places to see and eat...and... More

My husband and I just spent four wonderful nights at the Atlantic Sojourn. This was a return visit to this amazing B&B. Our hostesses were friendly, extremely helpful, and enthusiastic. We loved our chats. This is the best B&B we have been in. It is a beautiful home, spotless, comfortable with little extras like homemade chocolate chip cookies and a... More

I realize this review is kind of late, but wasn't sure how to enter my opinions, but now that I know what I'm doing?!!, here I go. My wife and I stayed here about six years ago when it was under different ownership, and while we had a nice stay then, this time our stay was FANTASTIC! Our hosts, we... More

Run by two women, one from Mississippi, and had great grits for breakfast. (Which we didn't expect in Canada). Within a 10 minute stroll of downtown shops and restaurants. A fine, well preserved and maintained home. Was built by a shipwright and the trim detail is exquisite. Beautiful.

Upon arrival Sebelle and Susan noticed that the launch of the Bluenose II will happen during our longer stay in this B&B and directly gave advice how to secure tickets for attending the event on a boat in the harbour. After this we were extensivle shown the property and all the amenities and, very helpful, what to do and where... More

Sebelle and Susan, owners of the Atlantic Sojourn, have realized their dream and hence have created a happy reality for the rest of us. The B&B, as others have mentioned, has everything - beautiful home, great location, personally prepared breakfasts to order, comfortable rooms - both bedrooms and common rooms and lots of unexpected extras. Both Susan and Sebelle are... More

Under new management! (2016) Immerse yourself in the charming architecture and furnishings of our historic, Edwardian-era home, built in 1905 by W.C. Our 4 1/2 star B&B offers free WiFi, off-street parking, cable TV in the living room, an antique upright piano (for our musically-inclined guests!), a guest veranda, brochures for local restaurants & attractions, and more. Start each morning with a hearty home-cooked breakfast in our elegant dining room, and enjoy 24-hour self-serve coffee, tea, and cookies. Our house is in "New Town", only a 10 minute stroll from the Old Town Lunenburg UNESCO World Heritage site. Use our B&B as a home base from which you can explore other local highlights such as Peggy's Cove, scenic Mahone Bay, the Halifax waterfront and Citadel, and the Annapolis Valley vineyards.
