Thanks Robin! We loved the art work including your own were tastefully decorated your beautiful home. I wish my own house were like that. The smoked salmon toasts were so delicious I finished all 3 of them! We agree with all previous reviews. You place deserves more than a 5 star!

Warm and inviting from the moment you enter! Robin is a wonderful host and his breakfast is top notch. His loveable canine Benson is a sweetheart and sure to put a smile on your face. Robin is definitely a people person and we enjoyed our breakfast talk with him. The room is spacious and the shower is amazing with double... More

We stayed with Robin three nights in October of 2016 (on our trip for the wonderful Celtic Colours Festival). The accommodations and services were top notch and Robin was a gracious and enjoyable host with whom we had highly enjoyable conversations particularly at the excellent breakfast table Robin sets. There are only two rooms and we were able to see... More

We had two wonderful, comfortable nights in this Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are simply furnished in the best possible way. Wonderful sheets and towels, soft pillows, good reading lights, robes and slippers. Robin is the most charming host and serves a lovely breakfast. One could not ask for anything more!

This is a delightful bed and breakfast. The house is a heritage building which has been completely refurbished to the highest standards due to fire. It sits away from the main street in an oasis of calm up near the Blockhouse park and visitor centre. There is off street parking available in front of the house and a large garden... More

Classic old style home outside, modern new European style inside. Immaculately appointed rooms. We could not think of a single item that we would like to have that wasn't in our room. Excellent host, and a great breakfast. Lots of choice for breakfast. Only two rooms. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Robin at the Wellshire has created stunning accommodation for travellers - beautiful well- equipped and very comfortable rooms, and breakfasts you cannot resist. As a family, we have just enjoyed 2 nights with Robin in Lunenburg, occupying both available rooms. Room 1 has an ensuite bathroom with twin sinks and a good sized bath. Room 2 has a private bathroom just a few steps down the corridor. Robin and his talented friend Anya have created a bed and breakfast that feels like a... More

I am not normally a B&B person: the enforced conviviality, lack of privacy, and barrage of kitschy furnishings generally leave me yearning for a Westin. But the Wellshire is truly the best of both possible worlds. A charmingly historic outer shell hides a nearly brand-new rebuilt interior that is the epitome of sleek simplicity. And with only two bedrooms, you... More

I very seldom give a 5 rating but this small B&B gets a 5+. Fresh fruit, granola bars, coffee with real cream in the modern upscale room. Spa bathroom with tub, double sinks, robes and top of the line toiletries. You pick your breakfast the night before from choices that you only find in high end restaurants. Individual french press...
