We stayed 2 nights in this property, and the experience was wonderful. We hiked all around the property and its surroundings. Water view is awesome, the lodge situated at the tip of Yellow Point, as the name suggests. A delightful short stay, and prices were very reasonable, covering 3 meals a day, plus snacks in between. Restful, peaceful....the place grows...

This was my first time here but I was accompanied by long time regulars; from everything I was promised, Yellowpoint lived up to it and more! The lodge and facilities are rustic and cosy, but that's part of why you come here. The food was amazing..seafood Friday and prime rib Saturday were as good as any fine dining restaurant I've...

The Yellowpoint Lodge experience is restful, yet filled with options for activity and other interests. The Yellowpoint Triathlon is "eat, sleep, read", but you can add walking, kayaking, biking, tennis, swimming. There are interesting guests who become friends, card games and puzzles. Staff is extra friendly and helpful. It's a somewhat rustic experience, but don't let that deter you; it...

Beautiful setting and an alternative "ethic" which keeps it full. If you have problems with smoke, suggest a cabin with wood stove rather than fireplace. Eating in the big room in the lodge can get noisy - as beautiful wood/beam construction bounces sound. Be prepared for the noise. Food substantial and local. Staff very eager to help. If you go...

From 60 to 0 in about 5.2 seconds. This was my second year and my husband's first year. We stayed in one of the lodge rooms. They are pretty basic, but have everything you need (bed, place to hang your clothes, washroom, etc). What is really nice about staying in the actual lodge is that after you've finished dinner (all...

This lovely property provides what I consider the Perfect Vacation. The accommodations range from rustic to luxurious so the choice is yours. The popular Rustic Beach cabins are a favorite with huge open windows, electricity, and a pot-bellied stove right on the beach with the best sunrises anywhere. Shower in the trees and trek to the restroom but so heavenly....

My sister and I stay in a beach cabin during the same week every year. Been coming since 1999. We compete in the yearly triathlon...our events consist of eating, sleeping and reading. We count down the days from the moment we leave until we arrive the following year. A visit to the Crow & Gate Pub starts our week off...

This is a rustic, quiet place to get away. No internet or cell phone service. Rooms are very rustic cabins, some very minimal on the beach, to nicer rooms in the lodge. There are tennis and Botticelli ball courts, kayaks and bicycles. Enough food of excellent quality all server buffet style with some table service at breakfast. Tea etc. at...

Somewhat rustic, casual, waterfront resort. A variety of Cabins situated around the property as well as rooms in the lodge provide privacy with lovely common areas and communal eating. The set menu, serve yourself, provides a loads of delicious foods including seasonal and local fare. The menu repeats weekly. And if you have any eating considerations you are also well...

Since 1953 I have watched and visited this large preservation of an exquisite piece of our west coast Island. Two generations of the Hill family, share with everyone ,but NOT change while conforming to necessary changes. Preserving the original charm, you can still book a tiny shack on the beach,Take a tree shower, swim in a huge salt water pool,...
