Because only a few vacancies we were not able to pre-book same site for our 3-day stay. But the very helpful guy at the reception managed to mingle around so we could stay on same site for all the days. In general the staff was very helpful and considerate. We felt very comfortable during our stay. The facilities are a bit...

we recently stayed in one of the mobile units for 10 days and it was great, clean, spacious and well looked after, yes they look old but do not get put off as the bedding and towels are always changed and the bed was lovely too. well appointed with a view to die for. The staff at the beach park...

This review is for the park only, since we stayed in neither the caravans, nor the cabins/motel units. Facilities are perhaps a little dated, but this park is apparently city council-owned, so I suppose that is par for the course. Otherwise, clean communal facilities (kitchen and bathrooms), and friendly staff at the front office. We stayed in the non-powered tent...

We recently stayed in a motel unit for 3 nights. Large studio unit, with roomy walk in shower bathroom, overlooking the campground, with floor to ceiling views to Rangitoto and Takapuna Beach. Has a small outside deck. Comfortable firm bed, and very quiet overnight. Very close to Takapuna shopping and restaurants, and public transport options. Inside of the units clean...

Stayed here for 2 nights in January 2017. Very close to beach and restaurants. Did a wonderful walk from Holiday Park north along a track. Lots of wonderful homes and amazing reef caused by volcano eruption many years ago. Easy bus ride to Auckland city centre. Also beautiful Davenport a short trip away where you can do many heritage walks...

Stayed here one night in my tent while the others in my family stayed in an on site caravan. This place has been under threat of closure for a number of years but I understand a new lease is about to be signed. There has obviously been very little maintenance done in the last while. The eves on the office...

Stayed in one of their cabins. Not beach front but right there in front of the beach area. Large cabin with double bed and separate shower/bathroom and has own small balcony. Less than 1min walk onto the beach - AWESOME considering some of the rip off prices being charged by hotel further back inland. And only a 3 minute walk...

Fantastic site. Some buildings are a little tired. I stayed in an older cabin, just 20 m from the beach. Great location.Superb morning sunrises over Rangitoto Island. Close to central Takapuna where there are plenty of cafes and bars.

This accomodation exceeded my expectations! Which weren't high, given the low cost, but it was in an excellent location, right on the beach and in walking distance to bars and cafes. The receptionist was helpful and accommodated our extra vehicle. The units had new looking soft carpet and the bed was really comfortable. The little room had everything we needed!

Stayed in a 2 person onsite caravan basic but clean. Cooking and toilet/shower blocks and laundry facilities short walk away. Wifi is available for a small charge. Site is right on the beach. Short walking distance into Takapuna centre for buses and eating out, supplies or just shopping. Staff friendly and helpful. This is my second stay in a caravan...
