Our stay last year was nice, but when we tried to get our $592 refund back more than 5 months in advance of this year's August 21 trip, they said, "We're very sorry. Our policy states that deposits are non-refundable". That's not what they assured my wife when she asked before booking.

Nice sites, quite spacious. Washrooms were quite a walk and for a large campground not very large. They also needed cleaning and maintenance. The rest of the campground was very nice with plenty of room for kids to play.

The camp site was nice. People that are complaining because it was muddy when it rained are missing the plot of camping, that's not the campsites fault. There is a really nice river that you can walk down to and go fishing, the flush toilets were clean, showers were decent. lots of green space for the kids to run free....

The camp ground is good but the bathroom needs to be cleaned better and some maintenance is required to maintain a better standard, overall the site is good and close to Radium, Panarama and a short drive to the hot springs.

4 nights in #419: Enough bushes around us, fair privacy and shade. Clean well maintained sites and washrooms. Friendly host. Coin laundry machines were always occupied (we had to go to Invermere for our laundry eventually). Only down side was far from shower, flush toilet and laundry machines especially if you have 2 little kids.

My family spent 4 days in this campground on the long weekend. We booked well in advance and still couldn't get the site we wanted which attests to their popularity. Our site was still OK but it had a 40 foot spruce tree that was dead and was the only shade tree. I would rather have had a stump than...

Unlike the other reviewer who didn't read the fine print I book two days. The washrooms and showers were a bit aged but was clean. They even had WIFI which was great also you could use the fire pit all night. It was close to the Hot Spring and other shopping like the grocery store that had a liquor store...

First of all, front desk staff is rude. We stayed at a "group site" which is for 10 families/tents/ or RVs. Well, the thing is like camping in the middle of a football field: Absolutely no trees, no shade, nothing, nada, zero. The outhouses (vault toilets) were HORRIBLE to say the least. During our stay (long weekend) they were never serviced,...

Do NOT book w them and expect reimbursement 15 min after booking due to unexpected change in travel plans. This is not the customer service we expected in canada. They did not tell me reservation was non refundable but said it was on my confirmation email. I did not have wifi until days later. What a way to make money!!!

“If you are tenters there are some very nice secluded sites on the far side of the island. If you have an RV and don't need power I suggest looking at SGS on the far side of the campgrounds or checking out the other tenting sites. As for the power RV sites nothing is treed or secluded unless you are there off season.”

“The no service sites are in the back with no trees or privacy. The service sites are in front but cramped up like sardines therefore not much privacy again.”
