We stayed for one night in the middle of our Vancouver to Rockies road trip and wish it could have been more. It is a long dirt track to get there but we were lucky to see a bear roadside on the way up and to be honest in a hire car I wasn't too worried about the rough ride.... More

We were 2 days in this resort while visiting the major parks in BC and Alberta in July 2016. Besides the spacious well equipped cabin, we really enjoyed the fine meals served in the boathouse restaurant. This was by far the best food we have eaten during our vacation. Compliments to the chef who clearly takes pride in his profession.... More

My wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon package holiday. We drove up from Whistler (which was amazing scenery) and Satnav took us off the main Highway 5 about 44KM away from Alpine meadows, this may have been the shortest route but it certainly wasn't the quickest, the road was a semi dirt/gravel road and may have... about half an hours drive from Clearwater you find this mountain oasis. A lake with cabins, offering room for 2 to many people. Very quiet, very dark at night. Free hot tub and canoes. Excellent kitchen!!

Alpine Meadows is the most peaceful and tranquil place to stay. The positives include: - the provision of canoes, kayaks and rowing boats for use on the lake which was a magical place to explore; - great food in the restaurant; - friendly and helpful service; - extensive grounds - where we saw a black bear cub one afternoon; -... Stopped here for one night in the middle of the road trip between Vancouver and Jasper as its approx half way between the two places , its off the beaten track abour 20km from Clearwater centre. The drive from Clearwater is up a long winding gravel/mud track , which goes off the sat nav after about 10kms ! takes about... More

I really like this property. If I lived in the region, this would be really high on my list of places to visit for a long weekend. It's just not suited for a single night stay when passing through the region - it's too remote, and the facilities onsite are not available late enough. In my case, a LONG drive... More

This is a beautiful, peaceful and very relaxing site. Getting to it does involve driving on a long gravel track, but this only adds to the sense of remoteness. We stayed in a wonderful 2 bedded detached lodge with a distant view of the lake and it was virtually perfect. It was very well equipped, very comfortable, well designed and... More

Great place to stay but remote so not for those looking for somewhere near the town. Stacey on reception could not have been more helpful. Food great and a change from the burgers and fries usually offered, all locally sourced. Beautifully appointed chalets very comfortable. Recommended if you want to get away from it all and a great stop over... More

I say swank, because that's the word Murry used when he took us over the free ferry crossing at Little Fort on the way. The cabins are beautiful, log cabin style, wonderfully appointed with large rooms, big veranda and comfy beds. Couldn't fault anything. The resort is on a small lake that reflects the sky and hills around as you... More
