Such a wonderful break away with my husband. Kate and Andy couldn't of done more for us, so so friendly and such good fun! The hot tubs were fabulous! Everywhere was spotless! The animals are so well looked after as were we. We have already rebooked for later in the year! Thank you for everything Kate. Love the Makemson's x

Abrupt and brash hosts with little consideration and prior planning for their guests. Apparently everything they do is fabulous - forgetting it is their guests who make the judgement.... won't be staying here again

its a shame we get the odd individual that feels the need to attack us in this way, we have many returning guests that would be surprised to see this review?? We take our work extremely seriously and will bend over backwards to keep our guests happy, NOTHING is too much trouble, we provide the best we can muster from...

My partner and I spent a weekend here back in March celebrating a birthday/our anniversary. We stayed in the small couple's cottage and enjoyed every moment. Lovely hostess, quiet, picturesque village and would definitely recommend. We are considering booking as a gift for others and will likely be back ourselves too. Thank you, Happy Donkey! :)

Fantastic week in beautiful, relaxed surroundings with friendly and helpful owners. Speak as you find and we really couldnt have asked for more for our chilled week away with friends and hounds. No it isnt clinical or corporate and nor should it be. We will be back. That is all.

Just spent a glorious week at The Dairy. Met by Andy on arrival who from the outset was extremely polite, friendly and helpful and remained so all week. Also met Kate and her daughter who were very pleasant and friendly. Accomodation was clean and well equipped and location, gorgeous. A perfect Base for relaxing in the evenings listening to nothing...

Terrible. Faerdre Fach / Happy Donkey Hill. Abrupt intro tour with lots of 'dont's'. Poor level of cleanliness throughout property and communal games & gym areas. Lounge rug and carpets filthy old and aged. Floors filthy dirty and pet excrement / hairs from previous dog owners on floors. Cat excrement in gym. Very dirty windows and frames that has been...

Stayed in Millers Cottage the weekend 17-19 Feb with my wife, her sister and husband. Was very happy with Millers cottage, a perfect size for us all, 2 separate rooms with king size and super king size beds, each room had its own ensuite with shower. Plenty to see in the local area, highly recommend the line crab chippy at...

Stayed in The Millers Cottage, spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. Good secure garden for the dogs. The hottub was an absolute dream! Filled with water from their own spring, came out looking ten years younger. We will definitely visit again. Host Kate couldn't have been more accommodating. 10/10

Was really looking forward to a weekend in Millers Cottage and expected to have fantastic time after reading the glowing reviews on here. However we were extremely disappointed by the level of cleanliness in the cottage, especially in the lounge. The floor clearly hadn't been swept for sometime and the rug in front of fire hasn't seen a vacuum cleaner recently,...

I am so sorry the cottage was a disappointment and the cleanliness was not up to our normal exacting standards, I can only apologise and am puzzled how things could slip so drastically inside 7 days, we were away in Cambodia during the changeover before you arrived and so didnt do a last min check ourselves or these issues would...

Great welcome, warm and cosy accommodation. Loads of info on where to go and what to do. Nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend and the surrounding were fantastic with beautiful views to die for. Locals very friendly, can't wait to visit again.
