My parents stayed for two nights at the Porth Hotel over Christmas and they were impressed by the hospitality and accommodation. Their room overlooked the river and was attractive, quiet and warm. Louise was so helpful and kind and ensured that their stay was relaxing and comfortable. This hotel is an real asset to Llandysul and deserves to thrive as...

Quite hotel and public house with personable staff and very good food Clean and tidy with comfortable rooms, away from the public house section, and quiet so you do get a good sleep. Fishing available just a short walk away.

We decided to stay at The Porth Hotel for three nights. On arriving at the hotel, we were shown to a clean, comfy double room overlooking beautiful scenery (the River Teifi and local church). Cooked breakfast was included in the price of the room and was delicious. We've since returned to the hotel to try their Sunday lunches. We've sampled...

The food was first rate, with plenty of choice, and very reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the view from the restaurant overlooking the river added to the overall pleasantness of the occasion. I would certainly recommend it, and will definitely be returning.

What a great way to spend August Bank Holiday (well almost), Sunday, with friends at the Picnic at the Porth. Great value and in the hotel's beautiful garden overlooking the Teifi. This, like all their fayre, is reasonably priced and good quality. Recommended wither for its good honest food and its support for real ales.

The Porth Hotel is family run and the proprietors work consistently hard to provide a range of facilities: pub, restaurant, overnight accommodation and wedding reception/party/meeting venue. There is parking on the road outside as well as a car park and garden at the back of the Porth, which sits next to a river and the Church so the views are...

I first went in The Porth about 30 years ago with my family while on our annual holiday in beautiful Wales. The juke box still plays the same songs and the space Invaider machine is still there. The rugby was on England v France and the atmosphere was great. A very friendly welcoming pub.

Called in today with relative who lives close by and had a super hearty lunch in very convivial surroundings, and enjoyed some good banter with the owner. Fantastic old building steeped with history and look forward to returning before Christmas when we next travel down to see our relative
