This B&B was a little tricky to find as it is so tucked away but a joy to behold when we did arrive. There is ample parking on site and the building itself is lovely. It's aged and creaky inside but in a good way! Our room was nice and large and while we didn't have en en-suite we did...

We booked last minute just for one night 'spur of the moment' trip to West Wales. The Farm came up on the Ceredigion website and, intrigued by the water Buffalo, we made the booking. Alison was very helpful from the first phone call and gave me some very helpful directions, as the property is a little hard to find but...

We were very disappointed at only 3 Buffalo's Got very wet feet going to and from car thro' grass, not exactly easy access as stated. 2 seats on grass but no table to put cups etc. on. there were 2 large sofas and 1 armchair in the downstairs room which were wasted for the number of people staying in the accommodation....

Beautiful farmhouse building in New Quay, only circa 5 minutes drive from the lovely beaches/coast. It is in pristine condition throughout and in a beautiful location. Highly recommended. Delicious breakfast in the morning too!

Beautiful place, friendly host, lovely breakfast and a nice quiet retreat, but close to seaside or country amenities. They keep a couple of friendly Buffalo, which are not noisy or smelly, just nice to view. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would go again.

Negative view - I so much want to live here I am so jealous of Alison and her family because this location is so perfect. But thank you so much my two night stay was amazing. Alison you were a perfect host so unassuming I so wanted to enthuse about my stay but you clearly didn't want personal praise. You...

Lovely rooms, perfect location and fabulous hospitality. Alison made my family and I very welcome from the moment we arrived. The water buffaloes were a delight and my two boys loved meeting them, in fact my eldest was more fascinated with the buffaloes than the dolphins he saw at New Quay. Highly recommend this delightful B&B. Thank you!

This tranquil house set in natural gardens with lake and water buffalo is a perfect place for spending quality time as a couple or family. However, this location is also able to offer self contained living areas, beautiful bedrooms and a separate cottage to let. There is a large sitting room and breakfast area. This makes it a perfect location...

The website does not do this B&B justice. Beautiful spacious room (2). Stunning view over lakes, watching the buffaloes graze. Great service, great price, great setting and location. Couldn't ask for more. Our two year old loved the garden, the 'moos' and the bath. Perfect choice. Thank you.

We found Penriwgaled whilst searching for a B&B near Newquay, it's just a 5 minute drive away from the beach. We were impressed by the website and the Buffalo! Needless to say we weren't disappointed, the room and ensuite were a touch of class! Very tastefully decorated with immaculate wooden floor throughout and views overlooking the pond. Alison the proprietor,...
