The room I had was upstairs and was nicely decorated. There was a faint smell of dog in the threshold between the bedroom and the bathroom, but everywhere was clean, so I can't explain this. The room was well equipped. One bedside lamp didn't work, but there were 2 others in the room. The only disadvantage of this room was...

Stayed there recently . The landlord was really nice but the landlady obviously does not enjoy her job as continually complaining. The evening food was edible but the self service breakfast and hard scrambled eggs were unappealing and the running machine in the middle of the breakfast room was bizarre. The room was dated but OK, looked clean on the...

Excellent hotel. Good value for money with excellent food. Probably one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in. Really nice hosts with two lovely little friendly dogs (Lola and Fifi). Good WiFi too. There is a drawback to this hotel though (but some people would say this is a bonus). Fantastic breakfast too. Beautiful village location. If I'm in...

We had an excellent evening at Great Danes. The food was very good indeed, there were four in our party and we sampled the chilli, steak pie, fish and the chicken kiev followed by bread and butter pudding and strawberry meringue. All excellent. We had booked to park our motor home and as we had evening meal there the charge...

A triple room (3 seperate beds) is hard to find but this one was just perfect. Good beds, lovely well-cooked dinners, excellent location, kind owners but not a great Dane (as in dogs) in sight! Many things to do in the area as well.

I booked our overnight stay with dinner and breakfast by telephone. I spoke to the lady owner who seemed very pleasant. However, on the day, we arrived at 2.00 to be greeted by a very abrupt couple, who were in fact the owners and they said they didn't open until 4.00.p.m. I accepted that those were the opening times, but...

Having travelled 6hours to get to the hotel we were very disappointed by the welcome we received and overall service. We were greeted by the owner who rather than making us feel welcome simply stated we had been put in a downstairs room as we were due back late the next night....i stated we definitely weren't and we had requested...

This bed and breakfast establishment is situated in a beautiful quiet village. We loved the fact it was so peaceful staying there. The landlords were pleasant and friendly enough. However, it would have been a nice touch if they had given us a complimentary drink or money off our bill when we were asked to vacate our room and move...

Had a 3 night break here for the marham air show. Very welcoming and did enough to make you feel at home. Landlord recommended some local visits which were spot on. Worth staying here as a base for touring around Norfolk. Nothing else in beachamwell apart from a church and a few houses So the bar in the inn was...
