My room was in the 3rd floor and it was quite nice and roomy. I was able to keep it cold which is what i like. The chambermaids were very efficient and professional. The bar downstairs was my favorite place to hang out, talk with the staff and drink anejo 7. They were all amazing. But the best was having...

This was a lovely, boutique hotel that was very comfortable and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was fantastic and helpful. The sunrise from the rooftop is beautiful! The lobby is very comfortable and open to the passing street full of horse carts, street vendors, and bicycles. We can't answer some of the questions below because we were...

Lovely historic building with great attention to detail, quiet sea side fishing town with friendly locals. The Encarto hotels are my favourite group as they are boutique hotels with excellent staff. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Cuba , wide choice to suit even the fussiest.

This hotel is amazing. Possibly one of the only 4 star boutique hotels in all of Cuba. The front desk staff and wait staff were extremely accomidating and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and the hot water in the bathroom got HOT and had great water pressure. Which is a big plus for countries like Cuba. The rooms have (a...

We went on a private tour to Gibara with friends and a guide in his classic car, from our hotel in Guardalavaca. After a walk of the town we stopped at the Hotel E Ordono and enjoyed the views of this sleepy fishing village, from its roof top terrace. There is a roof top bar but ,unfortunately ,it wasn't open. The...

This is a beautiful Art Deco hotel. Visited only for lunch however but got the opportunity to wander around and go onto roof terrace where the views were amazing. Toilets were spotlessly clean and food was good.

We spent 3 very relaxing nights at this hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable and we had great views over the ocean to the mountains on the other side of the bay. The service was mostly exemplary, particularly Guillermo who personally walked us to a great restaurant (El Coral) for lunch. Breakfast was good and dinner at the hotel...

We ended up staying here for five days. The hotel staff were friendly, provided great service, and even before we arrived let us know about Cubanacan's website where we could secure a discount on our rate. Gibara is a lovely small town with great food and nice beaches nearby.

This was, perhaps, the best hotel we stayed in of the 12 on our trip. It had good service, the room and bath were very nice, and it was located well in this small town. The breakfast is ordered and served.

We stopped here for lunch on a larger excursion from our resort in Holguin. What an amazing place. Set in the old seaside town of Gibara, it was a totally dilapidated building that was completely restored to its original glory. I can't say anything for the rooms but the dining room was a treat. Its well laid out with attentive...
