We planned a 2 night stay at Levuka Homestay and arrived via the Patterson Bros bus/ferry at around 6pm. John and Marilyn provided a very warm welcome and invited us to sit and chat on their verandah - this gave us a good overview of Levuka and also a recommendation for dinner. Everything John & Marilyn told us was accurate...

Marilyn and John gave us a very warm welcome and we feel a bit like home. The room (out of 4) was spacious ( 5*5 m + bathroom) and very well equiped (AC, fan, fridge, elec. cattle) and nicely decorated. Amazing Breakfirst. Daily roomservice. 2 min. walk to town.

Lovely rooms, amazing veranda with great views of the town and sea. Marilyn was very welcoming, the staff were friendly and chatty and the breakfast was something else. It's the eye for every detail that makes a great place to stay and John and Marilyn have got every detail covered.

We loved the room, in an old style cottage, with all the little details, the bathroom, the decoration and the silence. Our host were delightful and offered us welcome drinks on the terrace with a full moon to greet us. The breakfast is so huge it becomes a real brunch. Totally worth the visit! The only thing that shocked us...

This place is a real gem. Run by expats John and Marilyn, it was the best place we stayed at in Fiji. They offer the kind of relaxed hospitality that makes for a perfect holiday. Breakfast is a highlight, thanks to marilyn's home cooking - including fresh pancakes and cake, and a diverse array of sweet and savoury preserves. The staff...

We stayed in Levuka for a few weeks as we were working at the local hospital, and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. John and Marilyn were the best hosts we could have asked for, who helped make our stay in Levuka a truly magical experience. They provided us with not only a fantastic home, with beautiful and...

Levuka is not a destination but an escape , an escape to a town that has not lost its charm. Fiji colonial history begins here , the town itself has not changed since I left it 50 years ago. Levuka is not a tourist destination but it is a place one must visit to experience real Fijian friendliness and hospitality....

We stayed in three places when we were in Fiji, and this was our favourite. Levuka homestay was beautiful to come back to after a day exploring. The rooms were comfortable, air conditioned, and had an ensuite. We found this room much better than one of the "luxury" resorts we had booked earlier! The breakfast was delicious every morning, and...

With a spectacular sea view, beautiful decor and many luxurious features, this gorgeous oasis, privately tucked away amidst tropical shrubs is just the right place to make special memories to last a lifetime. Although I only stayed here for two nights, the short stay was thoroughly enjoyed. I love the setup and layout of this place – spacious room, modern...

The best place to stay in Levuka, I stayed at the Royal hotel 30 yrs. ago and wanted to take my wife to see the real Fiji. The royal is great for backpackers but for 50 something couples the Homestay is the way to go. Lovely people, very clean, good shower and AC. Great breakfasts. Wonderful places to wind down...
