The Plough is a big suburban pub that has a block out back with rooms. The rooms are fairly basic, but perfectly adequate ... clean, comfortable beds, good toilet and shower facilities. Food in the pub is excellent, bordering on outstanding ... basic English grub, but superbly cooked and presented. The chef was especially friendly and helpful. We were on...

A warm welcome awaits you here. The staff are cheerful and friendly. Our room was warm and cozy. The food was fresh, hot and tasty. The full English breakfast was very filling and kept us going for ages. Nothing was too much trouble for them. A very enjoyable stay. We will definitely use The Plough Inn again.

Myself and my friend booked in at the plough inn for our visit to Leicester for the Kasabian gig, we were welcomed with warm arms by Karl and the rest of the staff. Although the rooms are actually quite basic they are absolutely spotless. Being only 10 mins from the KP stadium/ centre of town was also ideal for us!...

This is a good, honest, local, friendly pub. The accommodation is good and ideal if you are visiting the area for a short stay. The staff are very welcoming, in particular the young lady who cooked and served breakfast. She was excellent and nothing too much trouble. It was our daughters birthday and we had a surprise breakfast for her...

Lovely comfortable stay. Rooms were spacious and clean. I was particularly impressed with where and the design of the rooms at the B&B. From the outside, they looked like little chalets. Conveniently situated from were I was performing, and the breakfast in the morning was fab. The hospiatlity of the staff was wonderful, particularly the female chef serving breakfast in...
