This hostel has been one of my favourites during my trip round Europe. First of all, Andy was very quick in answering my emails etc about booking and also picked me up from the train station!! The hostel is really lovely, well thought of and very clean! I also really enjoyed the kitchen area and also the photos in the...

We (2 persons) stayed for four nights and it was the best Hostel we have ever been! The Hostel is located in a sweet rustic village in the proximity of the lake Bohinjsko Jezero. The Hostel itself is a beautiful for this region typical house, where you can feel very welcome. We loved the interior furnishing. Every room has its...

This hostel really deserves more guests! It has the total package: very friendly and kind hosts who are always willing to give information and advice (and who pick you up from the nearby bus or train station), a beautiful and clean hostel with great facilities (kitchen, nice common room, washing line), stunning nature/surroundings and a good breakfast. You get a...

We were lucky enough to stay here for a night recently. Andy was very accommodating and gave us separate rooms as we were three couples. Agree with previous reviews that the place is spotless. Andy gave us lots of tips and even took a wonderful group photo of us which he later emailed. The area is beautiful and it is...

Firstly, like everybody else on here, my 3 friends and I who had been youth hostelling around the country, were shocked that this was called...

Me and my boyfriend just randomly passed by the hostel while hiking through a small Slovenian village called Studor and were just amazed! Even though we had had other plans, we decided to spend 2 nights in there. The whole place is just beautiful - mixing the style of old alpine houses, Provence and modern stuff by IKEA :-) Andy...

We stayed two nights in Studor 13 and were very charmed by the location and its hosts. We traveled by car so we could get around, but they also had a pick-up service from the lake if needed. The hostel is charmingly decorated, very tidy and has beautiful views over the village and mountains. The hosts were very helpful. You...

I am a solo traveler who stayed at Hostel Studor for a couple of nights in June 2013. I arrived by bus and had the tourist office call Andy. He picked me up within 5-10 minutes of my arrival and he immediately made me feel welcomed at their beautiful home in the Slovenian countryside. It's hard to believe that they...
