My husband and I stayed at this resort for 2 nights. We stated at the honey suit. Its such a beautiful resort by the lake and has lots if sport activities such as beach volleyball, basketball, boat, etc. The rooms were beautiful about old but it gives you that cottage feeling The owner is very friendly. Overall an amazing experience

The Halimar Resort is the perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of life. It is quiet and peaceful, yet fun and playful as well. I stayed at Halimar Resort following receiving a 2 night stay gift certificate. From the moment we arrive until the moment we left we were welcomed by Suzanne and Jan and made to feel at home. The resort is nestled in beautiful surroundings, with several excellent amenities and activities. The resort and grounds are beautifully maintained and our cabin was... More

My husband and I and our eight year old just spent three nights at The Halimar resort over March break. We had a blast. I saw some negative reviews about the place needing updating for the price. We rather liked how rustic it was. We were on a ski vacation at Sir Sams which was about a 20 minute drive... More

A nice quiet place to relax, with beautiful scenery (the resort is right on the lake), a kitchen for us to use and lots of time to just spend with each other. There wasn't a ton of people there at the... More

Friendly people, clean, great location, great beach but the cabins need to be majorly updated. For the cost to stay here they are very lacking in keeping it up to date. Very over-priced. $800 for a weekend is outrageous compared to what they offer and how out dated this place is! wifi doesnt work either.

could be a good place but no staff..no food on site ..also very outdated looking main room and buildings. owner is friendly but looks like there is no passion or effort but in the place ...would not return not much for kids to do in the winter outdoors..no sled hills or any equipment to use to do any activities.
