My husband and I bought a travel trailer and this was our very first trip with it. We chose Bow Rivers Edge as it is close to home, (we live in Calgary), and wanted to stay close in case something went wrong. Check-in was quick and easy. The campground was well set-up and easy to get around. The washrooms were...

Hi Bob, Thank you for your kind review. We appreciate that you came in early! Wish the weather was warmer for you. We are trying to get our water on in the next few day and then we will be away to the races. I hope you can visit us again! Cheers, Sandi Guest Services Manager

Easy to find, close to city amenities, well setup campground, hedges between sites for the appearance of privacy, clean small but adequate laundry, next door to a family sports center, river walk nearby, mostly pull-thru sites. If you just need a place to leave the camper and go exploring - great location.

This campground is clean and well-kept. I arrived late and they left instructions for me on the office door, and then check-in the next morning. The campground itself is beautiful, clean and well laid out. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the 2-dog limit. This meant that many of my friends who were attending the...

Hi Karen, Thank you for your kind review of Bow RiversEdge. I understand that you attended the dog show that took place this past weekend. There is a reason for the 2 dog limit and we will always stick to this limit. It is not just the dog show that can bring multiple pets and we would be setting a...

We booked this place sight unseen, but were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival. The owners take pride in their park, it is well planted, well maintained and each site is pretty private. The bathrooms are very clean and my only criticism would be the two loonies for a five minute shower that was barely above warm water. Their is a...

Hi ZumaDawg, Thanks so much for your kind review of our park. This RV park is owned by the Lions and Rotary Clubs of Cochrane and this park helps them to contribute back into the community each year. Last year $157,000 was given to different groups working for the betterment of our citizens. All our hard work inside and out...

We needed to take our motor home for a shake trip. We choose Bow Rivers Edge because it's close to our home. I was very surprised to find such a nice campground in town. I stayed at many "municipal" campgrounds and they generally slightly above acceptable. Bow Rivers Edge is outstanding. It very clean and the sites are generous in...

If your out touring around in your RV and need a spot to spend a couple of days to recharge your batteries; look no further. Conveniently located between the Rocky Mountains and Calgary, the Bow Rivers Edge is a winner. It's 35k to Calgary's city center; 15k to the Trans Canada and about 60k, give or take, from Canmore making...

We only stayed 2 nights but will be returning in September for a slightly longer stay. The staff at arrival were pleasant and efficient and got us checked in without any difficulty. The campground is located, as the name suggests on the banks of the Bow River, it is a very nice campground with wide, level, gravel and grass sites....

We booked this purely unseen and only based on reviews. It is a really nice park along the Bow River and close enough to Calgary and Banff, depending on your desires. While this park is huge, each site has privacy and shade Sites are level and roomy-no worrying about where to park your vehicle if you're towing. Unlike many of...
