For the price I'm not quite sure why this place gets such negative reviews. The food was affordable, came quickly and decent. The rooms, despite how small the towels are, were clean modern-ish and very affordable. Granted it was winter which may drive the price down, I spent $50 for a night which is cheap for an average hotel.

I was a little apprehensive after reading previous reviews, but it does need quite a few improvements before I could give it anything other than 2 stars. The main issue that I had read was the bath towel sizes, and boy were others right. The towels they provide are TINY. They did give us quite a lot of them, but...

Booked this hotel for one night as the cheapest one for that day. We liked the large renovated room & bathroom but my wife did not find a hair dryer in the room and asked at reception if they have one to borrow but they said they don't. Bedding was stained and looked like inherited from previous guests. Towels of...

Terrible beds, no air circulation, no phones, abysmal customer service, no safety features in bathrooms for elderly, nebulous rates, bath towels were hand towels, restaurant food is not only terrible but dangerous, unreasonable cancellation policy. Impossible, truculent front desk staff. Completely devoid of any interest in customer satisfaction. So just to summarize, you should not stay at the peninsula!!!!!

Our room was bigger than a standard hotel room. It had a table for 4 (which is very rare for a hotel room) and 2 king size beds. The hotel was renovated. That's the good part. The bad: 1. Extremely small bath towels. The first time I saw them I thought that these are the hand towels and sent my...

We booked this ahead of time, as there were limited options for us (via the hotel site we book with). The price was average, and we didn't expect much based on the reviews we'd read. The location was close to a couple of restaurants, and a supermarket. The room was mainly clean - or so we thought. When my kids...

We only stayed there for three nights after read all the reviews about their food. The room is reasonable for the price. No complaints as we were not expecting high as if we booked for something over $200 a night. Only downside is that second day the door was left unlocked after the cleaner. I am glad we didn't leave...

Had to stay at the Motor Inn for one night due to a mix up at another hotel. Bad choice. Was not terrible for the room, it was just the noise from the terrible people 2 doors down that partied from 11pm-7am and the foul language I had to listen to all night right outside my room. I called to...

I did not try the restaurant but stayed in one of their rooms for a night. The rooms were very tidy, pet friendly, spacious and well priced. Good customer service at the front desk. Would definitely return.

Stayed there 2 nights. This hotel is a work in progress and has a lot of good things going for it! *Room #8 was clean and very roomy. King sized bed, couch, dining table/chairs. Clean microwave and mini-fridge. *Location-It's walking distance of the Aquarium, grocery stores, hiking trails, and restaurants in the beautiful town of Ucluelet. * The young man...
