What a nice place. Amazing view from the room. A lot of space. Great bed. Fair price. We were quite amazed by this place. The view from our room was spectacular and we had bald eagles sitting in the tree just outside. There is a very nice outdoor jacuzzi on the balcony where we sat and enjoyed the sun go...

:) Thanks for your stellar review! We are so grateful that you shared your experience Farcin, and hope to see you again sooner rather than later as well! Have you ever come during storm season? The ocean is crazy, waves smashing against the rocks out at the Lighthouse... it's awesome! Cheers and thanks again, Kim Foster, Guest Relations Manager

I stayed in a two-bedroom suite. It is spacious and quiet. Sitting on the balcony of it and enjoy the mild wind from the peaceful bay, the great view will impress in your mind for sure. The nearby little town of Ucluelet is beautiful and the people are friendly.

Hi RicharddZ1206OK, thanks for describing your experience! We are so glad you enjoyed your visit to Ucluelet and your stay here at Water's Edge... did you know that Ucluelet means "safe or friendly harbor" in the indigenous Nuu-chah-nulth (Nootka) language? Cheers from the west coast and hope you return soon! Kim Foster, Guest Relations Manager

My boyfriend and I spent New Year's there and had a lovely time. A very quiet, romantic location which suited us quite nicely. Each room is different as the units are owned individually and rented by the resort. Our unit needed a little upgrading yet the layout was very comfortable and the location made up for the rest. We will...

Hi Diane C and thanks for review. Happy to hear you enjoyed your New Years Getaway, a great time for peace and quiet in Ucluelet! Have you stayed with us in the summer? The weather has been fantastic here for the last two summers and the town has been quite busy... lots of trails for hiking and beaches for walking......

Ucluelet is a charming town with a lot to do (hikes, kayaking, whale watching, etc.). The Water's Edge has clean suites with nicely outfitted kitchen and bathroom, and a comfortable bed. The foldout couch was convenient for our 10 year old son. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Internet is super slow, but in reality it was nice for us...

Absolutely the best vacation spot ever if you like peaceful mixed with a wonderful view. And what better alarm clock than the eagles calling out every morning. The balcony is my favorite place for a early morning cup of tea and to do some scenic sitting! You know it's a great place when the teenage is excited because we were...

Hi Terry, so glad you made it back this year, and thank you for the heavenly review! We appreciate that you return often to enjoy the west coast and all it has to offer, and look forward to your next visit... did you see whales and bears when you were here this time? There were Orca's in the harbour again...

The experience felt more like a cottage getaway, not what we were expecting. Dated amenities and unfortunately experienced very poor customer service - in particular the manager was more concerned with the bottom line financially than providing an experience for us as visitors. Disappointing visit.

Hi Michael H, we are also very disappointed the shore side condo is not what you were expecting :( Our intent at Waters Edge is to share a peaceful and relaxing place to call home while exploring the west coast...if you don't mind contacting me, I'd like to know what suite you were in and what amenities are outdated (I...

Cheers A M and thanks for leaving us a great review! The GPS, Tom toms, Google maps... all have issues in Ucluelet. AND the name of our road has changed from Harbour Drive to Harbour Cres. The left turn onto Seaplane Base road (then right onto Harbour Cres) is right behind the large welcome to Ucluelet sign and so our...

My wife and I recently stated at Water's Edge as part of 2-week vacation in Vancouver and Vancouver Island. Water's Edge is a perfect base for exploring Ucluelet and Pacific Rim National Park. Ucluelet's harbor is a wonderful spot for calm-water kayaking. And the Wild Pacific Trail, along the Pacific Ocean is breathtaking. Pacific Rim National Park is a 10-minute...
