I booked 4 days at this resort in the coming December through Booking.com. The next day I receive a message from the resort saying that my reservation doesn't mean anything pretty much. They are fully booked on the days I requested, and they are sorry for the inconvenience. I have used Booking.com for many years now, to book my hotels... More

Hello cmopkin, Thank you for taking the time to express your frustrations with Booking.com and online booking. We absolutely love it when people book directly through us, as we offer great specials exclusive to Wya Point Resort. We have a stay and save option, weekly special and Vancouver Islander specials running through this low season. Online booking sites you'd be... More

My husband stayed in Yurt #2 with our dog for 2 nights in November for our anniversary. The Yurt is located right next to the ocean! There is a beautiful wooden deck with chairs outside and we wish it hadn't rained the entire time so we could have enjoyed them more. The view is absolutely stunning. Check in was easy,... More

What a beautiful site for cabins. Every one of them waterfront. But the view and private beach access isn't everything. The drive from the hwy into the cabins consisted of approximately 1 km of terrible potholes on a gravel road. Once we arrived - ahh such beauty. Unfortunately they've stuffed too much furniture into a very small space. Cobwebs decorated... More

Hello Carol, Thank you for letting me know the issues you've had with our resort. We pride ourselves on offering world renowned views, and an outstanding experience, hearing what we need to work on is something I value deeply. *We fill potholes on the road every chance we get, unfortunately the two seasons Ucluelet has (summer season and monsoon season)... These are the best places you can stay in Tofino/Ucluelet unless you want full hotel service. The buildings are beautiful and the location unparalleled. Stay here and you will be immersed in the culture, nature and magic of this area better than anywhere else.

We stayed in one of the lodges and it was great. Nice decor, simple but everything you need and best of all no tv. The road in is a bit rough but once you are there it is wonderful. Cooked one night and went out the next two. A bit of a long haul to Tofino but worth the drive... More

cosy yurt facing ocean. Had a barbecue bed and fireplace. The tent had a star gazing roof and it rained hard all night. We were dry.A lone wolf howled by our tent. The view was beautiful but blocked by a large wall tent for a wedding. It was still ok..so beautiful. Be prepared for the drive in..windy single lane road..you... More

We have been coming here for a couple of years and stay in the Yurts on the beach. It is the most relaxing trip we take. No tv and battery power makes it feel like you are away from the real world. Being able to wake up and go to sleep to the sounds of the ocean are wonderful. The... More

Again, like last year, our trip to Wya Point was fantastic! Only one con: the porta potties at the beach front sites were not maintained while we were there. Beachfront sites: 30, 31 and 32 are THE BEST SPOTS! We had 30. Fantastic views, if not the best from all of them, minus 1 or two earlier on (14 and... More

We spent three nights in the ocean view walk-in campsite #30. The campsites are super clean and the trail from the parking area is well maintained and a short walk even to the furthest sites. Our site had a picnic table the literally overlooked the beach, gorgeous view! We were lulled to sleep by the sound of waves every night.... More

Went for a girls' weekend away and stayed in one of the cabins. We are quite independent travellers and appreciated the isolation of the place. It is wild and beautiful here! The staff are polite, helpful, and cheerful, punctually visiting each day to provide clean linens, coffee, or whatever else we needed. They were exceptionally accommodating and very informative about... More
