Fairly standard rooms but unuseable wifi and room TV for the whole week, told every day that it was fixed but still unuseable (wifi and TV) so a week here felt like a month. Some of the staff are great - friendly and helpful, unfortunately this highlights the other staff who are not. I know this is an "all accor" corporate chain hotel so they may respond with their corporate BS but writing this will make me feel better.
Excellent stay here - convenient breakfast which was quick and easy to navigate (express style so you do have to use a tray - bit like a canteen) Reasonable price for the stay. Great location literally a stone throw from the train station so easy to get into the centre of Amsterdam. Would use this hotel again
Horrific experience. Shuttle bus was baadly signposted with no clear instructions of how to get. Travelling with young family and due toerrors on both booking.com and the hotel have been charged 3 time the same booking. Do not book this hotel. They are refusing to listen to any refunds. Hotel nowhere need airport. And rooms terribly dated.
I came to Amsterdam for a training course and stayed at the Ibis Styles at Schiphol airport. The staff on the bar and reception made me feel very welcome all week, everyone was a good laugh and it was clear they really enjoyed their jobs, constantly laughing and having a good time. Thanks to Angel, Dionis, Arantxa, Julia and Jennifer for making my stay away from home more bearable 👍🏼
We needed a room to stay the night before our flight, as we didn´t want to risk getting to the airport late (trains were having some delays/cancellations and Schiphol in general was very busy during our time of travel). We chose this hotel as it looked comfy, had a great price and they offered an early breakfast, which was great! Check in was easy, hassle free and their staff really speaks several languages. We were checked in by Will who was so kind and helpful. We were checked in in no time and on our way up to our room. The rooms are GREAT! Honestly, for 113 EUR we had a spacious bed, the room had double windows so you heard absolutely NOTHING from the airport, flights, etc. The bathroom was very spacious and the shower had great water pressure. There was some complimentary fruit on the small desk as you walked in, which was a great touch. The elevator up to the room is protected, if you do not have a room key, you cannot get into the elevator. Nice touch to make you feel safe. In addition to the breakfast we also had a complimentary glass of prosecco included. Nice touch! Bar staff was friendly (Angel attended us), menu for food was great too and really reasonably priced. Breakfast was available from 5:30am onwards. Great options of types of bread, spreads and hot options such as hotcakes, hash browns, etc. Free shuttles run every 30-40min from the hotel to the airport and vice versa. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great hotel prior to an early flight!…
After staying in the Ibis hotel and Mercure hotel several times in the past, we tried this hotel to compare and find our favorite place to stay when using Schiphol. This hotel is definitely more peaceful and quiet compared to the Ibis Schiphol. We are gold members, so they gave us a big room, which was very comfortable and, although near the elevator, very quiet. The location of all 3 hotels are not in walking distance of anything, but they are airport hotels, so that's not really a problem. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed when we stayed here, due to a big tour group using it. What was left for the other guests was bar food, which would be fine, but they don't have enough seating places in the bar area, maybe 4 or 5 tables for 2 a row in the back and the only other option is sitting at the actual bar. The, mostly Spanish, staff was friendly. The free shuttle bus to and from the airport can be very crowded, considering it also serves the Ibis and Ibis budget, which was never ideal, but especially now while Covid 19 is still going around. Conclusion, if you want a more peaceful, quiet place to stay whith friendy staff, choose this hotel, if you want more facilities, places to eat, seating areas, and don't mind it to be a lot more "lively" at times, choose the Ibis hotel. …
Is good and the employees very friendly but is no small refrigerator inside the room Everything else is ok and the bar is great the room is clean but the closet is open no door the bed is ok the bathroom is ok will be nice to have more pillows and water with small refrigerator
Great!! Staff were so friendly, and extremely helpful. The hotel is stunning from the restaurant to the rooms, even the hallways and lift areas. The mood lighting down at the bar creates a really nice and cozy bar. The only downside is the rooms don't have a kettle with tea and coffee but the hotel does provide a FREE tea and coffee station downstairs. Will definitely be back. They even provided an airport shuttle busses (even tho the drivers were a little crazy)
I booked this for one night as we had an early morning flight at Schiphol. To get to the hotel, you need the shuttle that calls at all 3 Ibis hotels, Budget, normal and Styles. They are quite regular. We arrived and we were checked in very quickly. There is a display of times for when the bus comes to collect you for the airport, so make sure to take a note of this as the times on the TV screens are wrong. As a Silver member, I was treated as such and received my welcome drink voucher which was used nicely behind a busy but courteous bar. The room itself was very stylish. Far more luxurious than other Ibis Styles hotels I've stayed at. The bathroom was also quite stylish and spacious. We had a good night sleep, albeit very short as we had an early morning flight. Based on that, we were too early to take breakfast, so cannot comment on that. Otherwise, a great one night stay that's not too far from the airport.…
Great hotel, clean, well appointed with friendly helpful staff. Good shuttle that picked us up and dropped us in a reasonable time. Very isolated like many airport hotels with no reasonable transport options to visit Amsterdam or Harlaam.
