Friendly staff at reception and in restaurant. Average to below average lift to room, corridor and room itself. Reception area has a strange feel to it, like the hotel has gone bust and is semi-operational. You have to go out the front door and back in next door to the restaurant (not part of hotel?) for breakfast, despite a connecting...

Stayed here for attending an event in UL. Friendly staff on arrival. Room spotlessly clean. Hotel in great location for UL. Only negative was that the tv screen in my room had scratches all over the screen.

I stayed in travel lodge in Castletroy recently. It is a very relaxing hotel, great price also. I will definitely come here again and I highly recommend it if you are on holiday here and need a place to stay or just need a relaxing break away!

We only stayed here for one night as a family of 4. The hotel is right beside an Aldi and there is also a petrol station with shop and a Supermcs next door too. Check in was nice and easy and the staff were pleasant. The room itself is fine for 4 people(2 adults and 2 kids). There was a...

The staff on reception were friendly and helpful. our family room was clean and comfortable, perfect for short stay as we were arriving late in the evening and leaving early next morning for a swimming competition in UL so no breakfast required.

Better than l thought it would be. We stayed two nights , three of us in the room which was spotless with comfortable beds. Staff were very nice and helpful. A late checkout for an extra e10. There is a nice cafe right next door for breakfast freshly cooked..The only complaint is the heating system may not be good enough...

The front desk staff were all friendly and good. Unfortunately the rest of the hotel let them down. The first thing I noticed when using the bathroom was that the tap handle for the shower/bath was broken, making it difficult to change the water temperature. In fact I cut my finger pressing down on the spring-loaded mechanism where there should...

Staff: educated and friendly Hotel entry and hallways: Scruffy Room: very good with comfortable beds and nice bedlinen. TV was tiny and is not really good enough these days. Cost: Too much money for a hotel room in this bracket.
