This is a very comfortable and reasonably priced place to stay for Mick Extance enduro experience. Had breakfast and evening meals for two nights. Both meals very nice and evening meals cost less that £10 for main course and a good selection of very tasty meals. Wifi works fine and it was possible to use for Skype. Which is good...

We were staying in nearby accommodation for a week in November and used the New Inn three evenings for food and drink. The food quality was only average and the prices were on the high side. The staff were pleasant and helpful and there was a good choice of well kept beers. The biggest problem for me was the foul...

Good pub grub, very friendly, speedy service, free wifi, well kept ale. What more could you want? Prices good. Poor mobile reception in village so this provides a great service to visitors like me. Well worth visiting.

We had breakfast and dinner here while staying at the Tanat Valley Inn which is in the same ownership, but not too fancy. Good plentiful meals at a reasonable price. Gorgeous historical building and friendly and Informal service. A great place to stay for an extended stay or stopover to or from Snowdonia.

I foudn this pub on the journey back home from Bala and I was really impressed with the service and food quality of this place. The village is gorgeous and Welsh breakfast was just delicious. I certainly recommend it to the ones passing by. Stunning views and great food guaranteed.

New in name only, the building dates from c. 1750 (very old by Australian standards). Our room was pleasant enough (clean and comfortable), however the en-suite we expected (advertised as 'private bathroom' on Hotels.com) was in fact a shared bathroom (although no-one else appeared to share it during our one night stay). Lovely barmaid/waitress looked after us on arrival and...

Visited twice during our week in a nearby village. Both times the food we ordered was of a very high quality and reasonably priced. Great atmosphere, the pub was busy with local people, all very friendly The bar and waiting staff were very professional and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this pub.

We were staying in a remote farmhouse near Lake Vrynwy and the very few restaurants in the area closed for evening trade. So apart from cooking on our wonky, pre war stove, we had to travel to get an evening meal. If we were closer we would have used the Brigand every night but that was an hours drive. Eventually...

I hate having to give less than favourable reviews but unfortunately The New Inn disappointed us. Positives first - The bed was comfortable and clean and after closing time of the pub it was nice and quiet. Breakfast was okay and generally the staff were friendly enough. The free wifi was useful as no mobile signal at all but this...
