Friendly village pub, lovely, hearty meals and good portion size (although I’m missing the chips and garlic bread with the lasagne!) Food served 12-9 daily, Sunday lunch is good too. Would definitely recommend.

Being visitors to the area, and staying in a nearby cottage we decided to have our Sunday lunch here. We weren't disappointed. Plenty of choice, delicious and reasonably priced. It's a friendly hostelry with a good atmosphere. Wouldn't hesitate to have a meal there again....More

Really great pub food here in a genuine village pub. Farmers at the bar, families eating decent home made meals. We had lamb casserole a lamb curry and lasagne... all hearty portions and extremely tasty. Pudding good too. Serving till 9pm and not expensive.
