Lovely small hotel set in beautiful grounds. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Comfortable spacious and attractive bedroom. Well equipped if a little tired bathroom. Large comfortable bed. Would have rated sleep quality even higher if I hadn't woken up in the night and thought about the ghost. This did add to the entertainment value...

Didn't stay but went for a meal. The claim in the brochure is that its one of the best kitchens in the country. Usually I give somewhere 2 or 3 visits before deciding how good it is, but a claim like that makes me think it should be good everytime. The décor is late 1980's. It is crying out for...

We were lucky enough to win a meal here in a raffle a few years ago, but have never used it as we live about 70 miles away. We met the owner last year and she said there was no problem changing it from dinner to lunch and today we went. We were welcomed by a member of staff who...

To celebrate our 30 years in business I took all our staff for a friday evening dinner at East Lodge. The food was unanimously agreed as fantastic and the hosting superb as always. We were talking about the evening for weeks afterwards, well done thank you.

We visited on a Sunday for afternoon tea and had a great time. The tea was lovely and the staff and service second to none and extremely professional. We tried so hard to eat all the cakes but couldn't manage them but took them home in a little bag. We will be back!!

We have had the good fortune to be able to celebrate a range of family occasions at this beautiful little hotel situated in the heart of the most beautiful countryside with Chatsworth just round the corner. The food has always been of the highest quality . Most memorable celebration was daughter's 21st high tea in the conservatory. Beats the local...

Staff friendly, welcoming. Food was fab, we had the lamb and it was perfect, breakfast wonderful. We will be going back.

My sister paid for me to spend a lovely night there with dinner for my 50th birthday, we had afternoon tea which consisted of beautiful sandwiches and gorgeous cakes. The room was very clean and charming, the dinner was sumptuous and the service was top class. I would recommend a night here for any special occasion.
