To celebrate my birthday, me, my sister and my partner visited the hotel as I previously had afternoon tea with my girl friends. That time it was perfect so I wanted my family to experience it for themselves. When I booked it the staff were friendly and catered to my every need especially when I asked if it one of...

My husband stayed here 21 years ago the night before we married, so I was particularly looking forward to our stay. It didn't disappoint. Everything was perfect. The rooms were lovely, and the one we stayed in had an amazing view of the gardens. The room facilities were spot on, and we had a fabulous wet room shower.. The staff...

Visited for Afternoon Tea which was fantastic. We had a warm and friendly welcome by the staff. The tea was presented beautifully and was to a high standard. Bottom layer had ham and mustard/ smoked salmon and cream cheese/ cucumber sandwiches. Middle layer had scones (which I am sure were homemade) with very tasty strawberry jam (again sure it was...

We held our wedding here in August and it certainly lived up to expectations. We had initially seen it on the internet and and dismissed it expecting it to be price prohibitive for a small family occasion. We ended up passing by a few weeks later and decided to call in regardless to see if the setting was as beautiful...

Endorse recent cooments 100% We held our Wedding at East Lodge yesterday, and had a wonderful day. Throughout the run-up, and especially on the day itself, the staff were brilliant. No issue was too small, and nothing too much trouble - Sam and her team did us proud. Everyone commented on the lovely location, the excellent food and service, and...

Our Daughter's wedding was held at a East Lodge last Friday (12th September 2014) & it was truly a perfect day. It has all the elements required -the lovely drive up to it (can so imagine horse & carriages going up there in days gone by), beautiful grounds, luxurious accommodation, delicious food, magical staff who take care of everything without...

The meal in the restaurant was fantastic, great food and again great service from the staff. They all appeared to genuinely love their job and this showed. The only v slight downside was the bedroom. We stayed here for one night to celebrate my wife's birthday. We liked it. There are not many rooms so you get personal service from the staff, all of whom we found very friendly and helpful. Our room was fine and quiet and it was good to have sky sports! Dinner was very good but we were restricted for choice...
