It was wonderful to return to this beautiful part of the world. This year I brought along a few friends. Sandy Cove House is one of my favorite spots in Ireland. This quiet little retreat overlooks the cliffs of the Wild Atlantic Way. Each morning at breakfast you get to look over the ocean and you soon find yourself deep...

Amazing location, with wonderful views and such a hospitable welcome. It's been too long since the last visit 10 years ago and didn't want to leave. Go for a walk around the 'loop' (only a couple of miles) to take in all there is to offer there.

Sandycove is a wonderful little gem. The guesthouse has views to die for and manages to maintain its Irish charm. Breakfast is amazing and the hosts very warm and friendly. Our bedroom while on the slightly smallish side, was really lovely and clean. All in all, an exceptional place. Will be back soon.

Stayed here for one night. Rooms / Beds comfortable. Excellent breakfast and the view is spectacular! Four stars instead of five because bathroom requires and upgrade and had trouble getting hot water. Overall a very nice place to stay.

The first thing you notice is the incredible location - on a steep hillside right above a lovely rocky cove. If you have a room overlooking the front, you can sit at the window observing the cormorants plunging into the waters of the bay. There is nothing around, so you need a car and will have to drive to a...

What can I say that was not already mentioned in other comments? If you are lucky enough to get there on a good sunny day, you will never want to leave! The views are just spectacular! Basking sharks were out, the hosts were wonderful, lovely breakfast! We were early to check in but our room was ready within the hour...

My husband booked this lovely b&b a few days in advance of our visit. We received a very warm welcome from Breda and her husband, lovely irish hospitality. The room was compact but clean... But the view from our window was breathtaking! The window looked right out to the ocean, an added bonus was waking up to a view of...

Beautiful B & B, lovely room with the most stunning views. Clean room, comfy bed, clean shower room. We went for a swim in the lovely little beach just metres away with a very friendly seal! Such a warm welcome from Breda and her husband, and the most delicious breakfast, especially the fresh fruit assortment and the brown bread! Beautiful...

This wonderful B&B is set out almost on its own, offering exclusive views of the most beautiful scene across a bay, filling your vision with sea, sky, cliffs, seagulls and cormorants diving for fish. The B&B itself fits right into this context with conservatory windows providing 180 degrees of this view, matched by excellent breakfast consisting of a wide selection...
