This is a nice clean hotel near railway station. It's perfect for a night out in Bristol, I shared a room with one of my band mates and it's was perfect space and nice clean bathroom. Very reasonable price too

Really nice hotel, very close to the train station. Only negative is that there was no plugs near the bed at all which was rather annoying. Room was very clean and free tea/coffee making service and nice shower.

Staff always friendly and helpful Was booked onto room 310, room was of good size, nice to have a separate sitting area, rather than having to sit on the bed to watch tv Room was most definitely sound proof a the Ibis room literature said, , It was like sleeping with the window open very noisy. could hear all traffic... I stayed here for one night and it is a very basic city hotel, with a bar / restaurant. Room was small and shower 'pod' was basic. Air-con in room was centrally controlled, so had to open window as room was stuffy, when complained I was offered a 'fan' rather than the AIrcon being switched on. Staff were pleasant but... More

Good location if you want to be near the train station. Pleasant staff but that is where the positives end. Although I know a Saturday booking is more expensive I was shocked at how much this was for such basic provisions. Felt more like a Travelodge which I don't mind but not for £125. Very basic toiletries which consisted of... More

The hotel is conveniently located next to the train station and a short walk from Bristol city. Overall, for the price, the hotel was average. My biggest complaint is the temperature in the room - there is no air conditioning (even though this stated on the room facilities!). The room was very stuffy and although the window opens slightly, it... More

Stayed for 4 nights in mid November. The hotel is conveniently located for Temple Meads train station so if you're planning side trips from Bristol to Bath or Cardiff it's a good choice. At the moment due to the building works in the vicinity of the station it takes about 10 mins to walk to the station ticket office. I... More

I stay here regularly so feel in place to comment Recent corporate changes to the breakfast buffet, no mushrooms, no tomatos, and no site of the nice looking poached eggs shown on the website, still the same bland (powdered egg?) scrambled offering. The pots of various flavoured yoghurts replaced with bland plain yoghurt. Fresh grapefruit or mandarins replaced with small... More

We have stayed at this hotel previously and found it convenient for exhibitions at a variety of locations in the city.n The staff was very welcoming and helpful; the room large with good views across the city. My one complaint, as always in recently renovated Ibis hotels, is the lack of a wastebin in the room - hauling a used... More

I have to say I agree with other reviewers that this hotel is a little pricier than I usually pay even in London! The room was clean and very basic. The room was quieter than a lot of other hotels and for me that's a bonus. Downsides - no hotel parking. You can park overnight 5mins away for £13 ish.... More
