As part of a group of six pensioners my wife and I used this hotel as the base for exploring Bristol. It proved to be entirely suitable, reasonably priced with friendly staff and a good breakfast. Bathing facilities in the rooms were excellent and the beds very large!

Returned here for a second time after a lovely first visit, this time our visit was absolutely dreadful, I am so disappointment with the hotel, it's staff and the facilities, we had to move rooms due to noise from neighbouring room which was not controlled, we were moved to a dingy room which wasn't up to standard, next we were...

Nice afternoon tea, but they didn't have a discription of what it would be, which was weird. The staff were okay. Shame about the parking. The restuarant was very quiet, so not much atmosphere. Sandwiches were a little underwhleming, as where the scones. The cakes were nice though, and had a good selection.

Me and my boyfriend returned to This hotel after a bad experience the first time and I can say that we had a lovely night at the grand hotel. Our room was all we could of asked for, along with a comfortable bed. The shower was really nice. Good wifi throughout the hotel. I slept very well as our room...

We held our Wedding Ceremony, Breakfast and Evening reception at the Grand Hotel on 29/08/15 and were absolutely delighted with the whole day. Louise, Brian and the rest of the team were fantastic, really doing whatever they could to make sure that we and our guests had everything we needed to have a wonderful day. The Hotel itself is a...

Stayed with my wife for an anniverary trip. Really nice hotel, good decor and obviously been recently refurbished. The leisure club is really nice, albeit under the car park! Only niggle was length of time taken to check in and check out. The staff were friendly and welcoming but everything seemed to take a long time..... glad I wasn't in...

Magnificent building in the centre of the city, with the bonus of a car park. Room was prepared to a very high standard, and the whole hotel was immaculate. Without exception the staff were very friendly and efficient. It was a pity that marlows bar was not open during our stay as this comes highly recommend for its atmosphere and efficient...

I stayed here for one night earlier this week. I had a twin room which I shared with my stepson. The room was fine, nothing to complain about, and nothing to rave about either. Too hot, but then I often find hotel rooms overheated. We didn't eat dinner in the hotel, but the breakfast was fine. Oh - the spa...

The hotel itself is lovely and seeing as I was on a hen, did not expect to stay somewhere this nice. The room I had was lovely, however it was a little 'cosy'. Other members of the group had slightly larger rooms so I suppose it's just luck of the draw! We also had a bit of a trek to...

Only stayed here for one night and overall it is a good hotel, great location right in the centre of Bristol. However, I got an extremely small room (146, avoid) with a depressing view of a damp wall. TV remote not working and a very bad signal. Bathroom could have looked cleaner. Good amenities, tea coffee, toiletries, hair dryer, iron...
