This hotel is set in a superb location, in the city centre and on the green. A grand old building with parking and leisure facilities. We had a really nice stay, however, they should open the larger bar rather than the small one as its a cramped space. Room wise, they are nice and big but could do with a... More

The hotel itself is very nice, central location, comfy beds with good pillows, efficient and friendly staff and a good breakfast. The car park is large but the spaces are tight. We had a family room all of which are unfortunately situated at the front of the hotel and this was where things went down hill. The windows aren't double... More

First visit in years of regular trips to the city, as we were able to secure a great room rate via a third party. This is the grandest hotel in town, and it sprawls over a large area in a great location in the city centre, right next to the harbour, with easy access to Park Street and Clifton, and... More

Great location. Nice and friendly staff. The breakfast was spot on. Parking on site. Everything you need for Bristol city centre. Only criticism - Gym a bit warm. Did not eat in the evening in the restaurant as lots of choice in area. Great rooms.

The Marriott Royal Bristol ticks all the boxes. The rooms retain some "old world" charm rather than being the regular dimensioned Marriott room. The bathroom was well appointed with plenty of suppliers. The fresh coffee maker is a great idea but a wider selection of teas (no Earl Grey) would have been appreciated. The bed was the usual "great to... More

First time in 20+ years that I have visited Bristol and I was not disappointed with this hotel. The staff were very nice and pleasant and were vey knowledgeable about the area and were to go to eat and drink. Although we had a couple of problems (one major) theses were sorted out to our satisfaction within a couple of... More

Have stayed many times. This was for a corporate do. Was as good as always. The pleasantness of the staff, and the service in general are exemplary. My room - view of Cathedral side - was well appointed, clean, and comfortable. A really good hotel and conveniently placed in cetral Bristol. Highly recommended.

First class service but the room and facilities didn't warrant the high price of £189 plus £16 parking for an overnight stay. Light coloured carpet was probably not the best choice as it showed stains from previous occupancies. Overall the hotel was very grand and ideally situated, but is in danger of slipping into the region of "seen better days".... More

Service is good and staff helpful. Room we stayed in was a tad tired, the bathrooms needed updating as did the mattresses. Just felt and looked tired. Swimming pool only had 4 loungers so nowhere to sit as being used. Reception area has one bar down the side which is old fashioned now, empty and unused during our two night... More

This is a beautiful hotel with some of the most friendly staff I have encountered. Located close to the action and just across the road from the aquarium, @bristol science center and quay side restaurants and close to the tour bus stop it is a must if you are staying with young kids. The is an underground car park, and... More
