The service at this hotel was atrocious yesterday. Certainly not enough staff, queues for the bars, tables not being cleared etc. the management needs to organize themselves better. The weather forecast has been saying all week 'a nice weekend' so lots more staff should have been on duty. Will give this place a miss in future.

We stayed here the night of my wedding and again since in a suite (which is now recently refurbished). The staff are helpful, the rooms are a steal considering the service you are getting. The rooms are always clean, tidy and airy. Large bathrooms in the bigger suites and lovely big tubs. The breakfast is very nice and great coffee....

This hotel/restaurant/bar has every potential to be great (fantastic location in Clifton Village, wonderful views of the suspension bridge, large terrace and sun-filled restaurant), but it's such a disappointment. This is the first time I've felt the need to give a negative review for anywhere I've eaten, but I thought best to feed back on such a let-down experience. Our...

Excellent location and reception staff friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable with lovely bathrooms, and it was worth the extra for the view of the bridge. Breakfast, however, was an interesting experience! The order got lost - twice. We had to remind the staff about no tea and coffee service and then again regarding the food order....

Nice food, lovely service, brilliant view of the suspension bridge. Slight mishap with our food order, but the staff made more than amends, and where great. Would highly recommend them. Went with my parents and my mum is in a wheelchair, accessibility was perfect for her 👍🏻

My wife booked us in here for a birthday treat, on the Saturday before Mothers Day. She particularly wanted this hotel, given the rooms at the back have views of the suspension bridge, and we had never managed to get a booking on our past trips to Bristol. I have a heart condition so prefer peaceful/quiet rooms - the hotel...

Booked 2 months before Mother's Day. Received a call a few days before requesting payment and asking what we would be eating (there were only 3 of us). Arrived and was shown to a back room will little to ambiance. Staff were attentive but with 10% service charge they should be... The starters were laid out but not everything appeared...

We booked this hotel a year ago for a family wedding which was being held at the same place. The venue is lovely and views amazing BUT I have to say I was very disappointed with the customer service. First, I was given a key for someone else's room. No apology from reception, I was just greatful no one actually...
