A year on, and still one of the modest number of occasions when I've stayed in a hotel in my home city; the Berkeley Square Hotel offers a very welcoming environment. Bristol is now difficult for parking, but the hotel has its own secure garage in the square, at a modest additional charge (£7.00 per day). You can find free...

My wife stayed here ten years ago so we were looking forward to the comfortable hotel she remembered. However it feels as though it has seen better times and a succession of small and maybe not so small things made our stay less than comfortable. The bed base with its side exposed was seriously stained, the coverings were sheet and...

Normally stay at The Rodney Hotel nearer Clifton village - but changed to be closer to an event at the Hippodrome. Paid extra to upgrade to a 'club' room but, like other reviewers found in in need of attention ( empty plug socket void in wall above bed, Damaged bath top from earlier shower screen, windows stays rusty, etc) The...

My single room was very small and dated. In much need of a restyle. Internet access limited to 250MB - not much if you want to get some work done. Overall, I would not recommend this as a place to stay.

After two years I paid a new visit to this hotel. And in two years nothing has been done to bring this hotel to 2017's standards. Heating is on or off, shower leaks, bad windows and old beds. You have a tv and a DVD player, but a faster internet connection is of more use. Last but not least, staff...

We stayed overnight at the Berkeley Square Hotel Bristol . Nice little hotel with welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Our room was smallish but so well thought out it seemed larger. The room and bathroom were clean, orderly and had all the facilitis you would expect (including excellent free wifi). In addition, there were nice little touches (excellent biscuits, fresh...

I wanted to thank the everyone involved for the most pleasant stay at the Berkeley Square Hotel last week. The staff were an absolute delight, particularly Jeka and Sam on reception, and the particularly handsome manager Mr King. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The little touches made the experience even more enjoyable. I look forward to staying here again...

Spent just one night with friend at Berkeley Square Hotel Bristol . We were made to feel very welcome by the staff, who really were first class nothing was too much trouble. Yes the rooms need a little TLC but mine was very comfortable and I had a good night's sleep and had everything I wanted plus the fruit was...

I spend 1 night at the hotel. Rooms are a bit outdated, carpet should in the room should be changed. The hotel itself is ok, close to the University area. The staff is friendly. The room has some extra which should be notes: free coffee, tea, some fruits and sherry (very good). towels in the bathroom are very large and...
