We stayed here for two nights and took several rooms for the bridal party for my daughter's wedding elsewhere in Bristol. My daughter had suite 1 which was very large and beautiful and enabled the bridal party to get ready together. The other rooms were smaller but just as well finished with lovely comfortable beds and very good bathrooms. The...

We had a wonderful stay here in one of the top rooms (suites), which have the most magnificent views of Bristol. Beautifully appointed, comfortable, surprisingly quiet and excellent breakfast. Thank you!

I stayed recently for 2 nights as a friend was getting married and the hotel was our venue for the bridal party to get ready in the morning. It is full of charm, very clean and the staff are very helpful and polite. The bride stayed in the suite (number 1) and it was a gorgeous room with a walk...

We stayed for one night in this very charming small hotel. It is beautifully decorated and in a wonderful situation facing Clifton Downs, and close to the Suspension Bridge, although our very comfortable room (on the lower floor) was quite small. The breakfast was excellent and the staff most helpful; we arranged to have an early breakfast and this was...

Even in foul weather the location of number 38 is stunning, overlooking woodland. Short walk to the zoo and the suspension bridge. The interior of the hotel was beautiful and well appointed. They don't serve dinner but Whiteladies Road, a short walk, offers many choices. Breakfast was a bit of a problem. We needed to have breakfast served in our...

My wife had never been to Bristol and I said that Clifton was similar to both Cheltenham and Bath, so we knew the area we wanted to stay. We were meeting friends for dinner (The Lido, excellent) Room 10 is quite small (with shower only) but quiet being at the back of the hotel. The hotel is very stylish and...

We spent a lovely evening at this beautiful hotel. We stayed in a luxury double which had a freestanding bath with lovely views across Bristol. The decor is stylish and the whole place has a very relaxing feel. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly. We'll definitely be returning!

Comfortable, close to attractions, beautifully decorated. A pleasure to stay there. Our only quibble with the room was that there was water dripping out of the extractor fan in the bathroom. We reported it but nothing was done during our stay. We realised the fan had been turned off at the switch prior to our arrival, so surmised the owners...
