Lovely hotel in Clifton, easy reach for everything, staff very friendly and helpful. Dog friendly which is a big plus. Room perfectly adequate and lovely breakfast. Would definitely stay again. No lift in the building and we were on the third floor so need to be fairly fit, but I'm sure you could always ask to be on the first...

A very attractive building, beautifully decorated. The receptionist was delightful when I booked in. My room was on the lower ground floor, the route to which was rather dingy, but the room was perfectly adequate, with fresh fruit, proper leaf tea and real coffee and a great bed. So far, so good. I ate in the restaurant. I had a...

Dear Gill G, I am pleased to read that you found the room well appointed and the service you received by reception was efficient and friendly. We have tried to provide our guests with a little something different in the rooms, so it is always nice to hear when the fruit and loose tea and coffee are appreciated. I am...

A really pretty building in Clifton Village. Unfortunately no lift [I guess as it is a listed building] and the receptionist kindly carried my case [up to the top most floor] for me! I was made to feel genuinely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The Cafetiere with ground coffee in my room was a nice touch as was...

Dear zzAlizz, Thank you for taking the time to review the Rodney Hotel. I am so pleased you liked the area and found that the hotel provided everything that you needed. Single room is really tiny, no storage space and shower has no pressure. Parking at £5 a night is hit and miss as only a limited amount of spaces on site, otherwise you have to park on street if you are lucky enough to find a space. WiFi is by code and keeps running out so a real pain as...

While this place is in a good location with bus line right out front, I would highly recommend a different hotel.
